The perfect camera for people looking to upgrade their quality to a different level
This camera is so perfect I almost don’t believe it’s real. Really the only thing that I don’t like about it is that you have to buy all these other things for it. i’ve been having the same camera for six years and this is my first time upgrading and it was well worth it.

It's lived up to the hype...
This camera is near perfect and it was shipped to me faster than what they said. Very happy with the purchase.

Good value
Arrived on time and loving this camera. I’ve been working with other BMD gear for years and now have a camera that works with my BMD Studio 4K and perfect for our higher end productions.
I do recommend getting additional batteries.
I’ve been in production for over 30 years and this has a lot of options and a very nice picture. The internal ND filters remind me of my Sony VX 1000 which had internal ND Filters

Question & Answer
Question :
Does this come with a battery grip and a lens?
Answer :
The battery grip is an extra $149. This is a Canon EF mount camera and does not come with a kit lens. You'll need to provide your own. A good place to start is Canon's versatile EF 24-105 II f4 lens, which, given the APSC-sized sensor will be more like a 42 - 150mm lens in practice.
Question :
What is the Dynamic range on this camera, please?
Answer :
13 Stops
Question :
Can I use my Sony E mount lenses?
Answer :
No, that is not possible due the difference in flange focal distance.
Sony E lenses have a short (18mm) flange focal distance. The Canon EF mount requires lenses with a flange focal distance of 44mm (Canon EF) or greater (when using an adapter that extends the flange focal distance).
Unfortunately, there's no way to reduce the flange focal distance so you could use lenses with a shorter flange focal distance.
Question :
does this come with a power supply?
Answer :
Yes it does. You get one battery and power supply.
Question :
How can get easily and as soon as possible?
Answer :
All Blackmagic design takes around one month
Question :
what is the recording limit? most digital cameras, esp cannon can only record up to 30 mins. does this have a limitation?
Answer :
This camera does NOT have a 30 minute limitation. It's not a DSLR camera. It's a real cinema camera. You can record as long as you have power and drive space.

Question :
What is the best lens fir this camera
Answer :
EF mount naturally. Depends on how you'd like to use it. There is no in-camera stabilizer so a lens with built in stabilizer would be a good idea. Zoom so you have flexibility with one lens. Ideally an EF prime lens like a 50mm for sweet portraits. 35mm is most like what the eye sees. A classic. Don't skimp on the lens since you now have the resolution. Perhaps consider renting cinema lenses to see if it makes a difference.
Question :
what's the video capture resolution
Answer :
Effective Sensor Size: 23.10mm x 12.99mm (Super 35)
Shooting Resolutions:
6144 x 3456 (6K) up to 50 fps
6144 x 2560 (6K 2.4:1) up to 60 fps
5744 x 3024 (5.7K 17:9) up to 60 fps
4096 x 2160 (4K DCI) up to 60 fps
3840 x 2160 (Ultra HD) up to 60 fps
3728 x 3104 (3.7K 6:5 anamorphic) up to 60 fps
2868 x 1512 (2.8K 17:9) up to 120 fps
1920 x 1080 (HD) up to 120 fps
Question :
What all comes in the box
Answer :
Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro
Lens turret dust cap
Camera strap
30W power supply with locking connector and international adapters
NP-F570 battery
Welcome booklet
DaVinci Resolve Studio activation key
Question :
Also what desk top would you recommend to use for my video editing because i know this camera is so strong. should it be i7 32gb
Answer :
I use a Macintosh Macbook Pro (M1) and an iMac Pro desktop for use with Final Cut Pro and Davinci Resolve. But I'm sure you can get away with iMovie on a Mac or either the full version or the consumer version of Adobe Premier. You'll need some muscle for editing 4K--rather more than HD.
