Perfect!
I lost my eyecup while out on a train shoot (the Big Boy), and wanted to keep my camera as close to original as possible. This little baby fit perfectly, and saved the day for the next shoot. Highly recommended for anyone with a Canon.

I ordered this (as well as some cheap Chinese copies) to see what the difference was.
Still waiting for the Chinese ones to arrive, but the Genuine one is as expected very good.
Doesn't slip off the camera and the rubber is firmly on eyecup itself.
Although this is sold as an EF eyecup (and it does for example fit my Canon 5D Mk2) it is quite small and looks a bit silly on the Full frame cameras. This, as the description indicates, is intended for the EF-S (APS-C) cameras such as the 650D or 1100D etc (I bought it for our 100D and its the same as the original as far as I remember).
I will update this review with my findings as to whether the genuine is worth the extra (I think the aftermarket ones work out at about 1/6 of the price so be interesting to see how much worse they are!)
But at the price of about a Gallon of petrol (in the UK) it seems a good price for the genuine eyecup.

I lost my eyecup while in Austrailia... yeah I'm not getting that back. I purchased this for my Canon 750D and it fits as expected, it's the same design and is indistinguishable from a genuine Canon original. With the design being the same, it comes off when you really don't want it to so be careful when taking your camera in and out of its bag as I find that's the most common time for the eyecup to depart.
An eyecup isn't something you think about a lot but it really does help and at this price, you can't go wrong. I've noticed that it's gone down in price from when I purchased it; £8.19 two years ago, so now seems to be a good time to get one, even a spare as you will likely lose it.
Great product that does the job, I would recommend it.

I’ve been living with almost losing the rubber on my EOS500d for about 2 years now and never really considered a replacement. Then all of a sudden it annoyed me enough to sort it out. There appears to be several really cheap options but this is a genuine canon part (see photos).
I had a good tug at the rubber and it’s firmly attached so fingers crossed it’ll stay put when I carry the camera on my shoulder.
NB, the photo of the rubber coming off is my old one...

I always thought my original was always a bit loose on my 350D, then it happenend.
I was coming back from holiday and when I took it out the bag and it was gone :-(.. I looked high and low.
I stupidly went months without it, expecting it to be on the pricey side to replace as most Canon genuine pieces are, and I thought if the original was that poor I didn't fancy the chances of a copy/knock off on ebay.
Then I saw this less than a tenner for a genuine piece. Its actually a lot better fit than my original so I am pretty sure the one that came with the camera originally did have a problem.
Anyway all sorted and its been on a long time now and through much camera usage and it hasnt budged.

Appears to be genuine Canon replacement for original eyepiece that became loose. It eventually fell off and was lost.
Comes in sealed Canon packaging. Fits as it should - I tried the one for my 6D but it's much wider and obstructs the viewfinder focusing wheel).

Odd that you have to buy two but it may not be a bad thing to have a spare as I managed to lose the one on my camera anyway.
This replacement seems to be better quality and better fitting than the original though.

This eyecup fits perfectly on my EOS 700D. Only time will tell how long it would last fitted. The original one lasted only 3 years and then suddenly disintegrated - the rubber part just fell off and I lost it somewhere. I hope it was just a bad product and not a "feature".
