I bought this flash to go with my EOS M50. I was using a 600EX RT for my full frame DSLRs, but it is gigantic compared to an M50! I needed to have a flash for events and family gatherings that had full articulation for bounce flash, and this new EL-100 is simply perfect for the job! It has enough power to supply ample bounce flash indoors, and for fill-flash outdoors. Very compact, very simple to use, and integrates perfectly with my M50. Love it!

Great flash, small and light but not rechargeable
This flash is a nice size. I wanted the smallest flash available to just mainly do fill flash so I got this one. It works very well when it has brand new batteries in it but once they start to run down a little it takes several seconds between pictures which is frustrating. I would rather have a flash that would be rechargeable and I could just know it is full before I start out so now I have to take batteries with me and be ready to put new ones in if it gets slow. Still a very nice flash.
