Must Have for Photographers….
If you’re looking at this you probably know what it’s for and the question is - is this particular one worth buying… in a word, Yes. It is simple, accurate and works on a multiple-monitor setup. Highly recommend!!!

MUST HAVE
How did I ever shoot photos without this thing? Colors look 100x better in camera, and on my screen. The color checker is great and makes color correction, and WB a breeze with 1 click. Dont know why I waited so long to get this. MUST HAVE.

As advertised
We have owned previous versions. The X is very good. Gets the best from your monitor when doing photography or video.

The only chances of you buying this elite version instead of the Pro version is that you wanted to match 2+ monitor to be same colour calibration and looks 100% identical across your multiple monitor.
If not, i believe you can stick to pro version to save some cost.
For sRGB calibration and matching.
Judging from my eyes, it is estimated to be 90+% colour similarity across my three monitor.
Whether it is accurate or not, seems ok. My goals was to colour match all my three monitor, not colour accuracy.
If it was colour accurate, it will be a bonus.
There is another thing that needed to be similar, such as Shades of grey/white/black.
Judging from my eyes, it is estimated to be 80+% shade similarity.
It is difficult yo colour shade to be similar, it still looks abit different between my three monitors
In my experiences on using this, i rather calibrate in absolute darkness and three monitor in facing different direction. This minimize any stray light from monitor or other light source that may affect the calibration.
This resulted in better and most importantly, similar shades of grey across all my three identical monitors.
But this was not recommended by the software, use this method to gauge yourself if suitable or not.
Buy this kit instead of the solo elite version.
You get a nice additional metal briefcase, 24 colour chart, and that cube.
You can sell the chart and cube to lower the overall cost, you might even hit the price point of Pro version
