A must for any new photographer

These cards are so helpful. I’ve done photography in the past but it’s been awhile and I’ve forgotten a lot of stuff. So after getting a new camera I wanted a good reference guide for taking better pictures in manual mode and found this gem. Everything is so well organized and easy to understand and quick to access if you’re having trouble in one area. I think the thing I like best about it is the size and portability. (See photo of it next to my canon g7x Mark ii) It’s the perfect size to throw into my camera bag and have on hand when I’m out in the field taking pictures and need the help. Also with it being a harder plastic it looks like it’ll hold up for awhile.
Bonus: It also comes with a free online mini photography course that goes thru the cards more in depth which helped when I first got the cards.
Anyway, I can’t say enough good things about this. Definitely worth it if your new to DSLRs and want to get off just shooting in auto mode.

I went through it fast but so far so good

Snaphappymom has put this handy info for beginners and for people like me half way in photography it is nice but I think that price wise is a bit too high as I bought a whole book with 100’s of pages for $19.99 so a fare price would me $9.99 just a suggestion but it’s your business . I think if price drops many people will buy it but no matter what you deserve a positive feedback I will be using it . Thank you

Excellent item.

These are great for the BEGINNER. I am a beginner and these help me with settings. I have seen other reviews criticizing these cards. Those are people who obviously already know everything. If you are like me and just starting out with a DSLR I recommend these cards. They help. They are sturdy. They clip to the outside of your bag for easy access. You won't be disappointed. If you already know all the basics to your camera then these will not be of help.

Great Handy Reference

Since I'm enthusiastic photography hobbyist, I was looking for a small set of laminated "cheat sheet"s that would help me remember all of the tips that I've learned about taking great images, especially when I was on the go. These 11 "cheat sheet" cards by snaphappymom.com fit the bill. Not only are they handy, but they had great content, nicely designed (color-coded), and to the point. I've taken several hands-on photography courses before, but these cards are great reminders when you're on an overseas vacation or an afternoon photoshoot. Similar to sports, it's always good to have reminders when you're out in the field to help you be at your personal best. Te cards break down photography's technical terminology-- exposure triangle, aperture, histogram, white balance, etc. -- in an easy-to-understand way. These cheat sheet cards are now part of my camera bag gear and a welcome addition.

More to this than just cheat sheets

I'm blown away by this set. There are several of these out there and made by different people and seriously, I just clicked this one and bought it. I assumed they were all the same but when it arrived, I was shocked t how clean and easy to read this was set up and organized. In addition to the book/cards you get another card with an online photography explanation course. I did not know how great that was until I completed all of the videos. I feel ready to go out and shoot photos and start making changes outside from "Auto" mode. Well done, I will buy more from Snap Happy Mom, for sure !

The cards are the perfect size, sturdy and laminated, and clips right onto my camera bag and into a side pocket. Loved it so much I bought one for my son who is also into photography!

It's like a photography version of Cliff Notes

I like the size and that you can just hook it on your bag. The pages are easy to follow and allow me to quickly find what I'm looking for. The design is visually appealing. I purchased a different brand first and they literally looked like someone made them with info they printed off the web and laminated. These are very professional looking, easy to understand and fun to use!

Really useful for beginners! Love it!

I stumbled upon this cheat sheet set while looking for a tripod for my camera to use for a photography course through my college. I wasn’t originally going to buy it, because the topics on the cards we had already discussed in class. I’m glad I did buy these little cards, because I learned some new information! I also didn’t realize when you buy these card sets (there’s apparently 3 different sets) you get a free photography course, which is where I learned some new stuff! Overall this was a really great buy! I also ordered the Lighting & Composition set, and I’m excited for it to arrive after looking through this set! I highly recommend for beginners!

Sips of information/reminders on photography..instead of trying to drink from a fire hose

Rather than plowing through a book on photography that requires constant renewal of your attention, these cards introduce information that will help you understand that book on photography..with the 'Big Picture'.
