I'm pleased with these lights for my "home studio"

 I bought the 2-light set. I am really pleased so far. I have set up a simple home studio for making YouTube videos and Facebook videos. It's portable. I store everything in a closet. It takes me about 20 minutes to set up the lights, the backdrop sheet/stands, the camera/tripod, and a sound board/studio mic/digital recorder.

Likewise it takes about 20 minutes to put everything away.

I like the power of the lights. I use the white umbrellas. I do wish I had bought the 3 light kit which includes the gold umbrellas, though. But I didn't.

Note: I am using a low-end Canon Vixia HF800 camera (I think). It took some experimentation to get the best picture. I will say that if you put the camera on full "auto" you do *not* get the best picture. It takes some more fussing around. I mention that here because it is directly related to the lights. Now that I've experimented with various non-auto settings on the camera, I can get the exposure and color that I want, and this is important.

Note these lights do *not* actually result in the same video results as daylight. Nothing is as good as daylight. I don't care about what the lights are rated, i.e. 5500 K. who cares? Bottom line, it looks fine once you tweak your camera settings.

I've attached a short clip from a longer video this review so that you can see what these lights do for me. Again, this also required me to tweak the camera settings (white balance, aperture, shutter speed) from the default "Auto" mode. But I did not use software or some other tool so as to alter the lighting in this video.

I did not like this set up, I did use it for my green screen set up, It will light up the screen, but lacks the bottom light, and the quality I found was not that great, two pieces broke on arrival and two more only a few months later. But the lights naturally work fine, they are very powerful.. maybe even a little too powerful as you do not want shadow on your green screen. I would search for a green screen lighting system and see what is offered..

I use the set up for mannequins. There are some shadows but you’re able to adjust them away. It may be a little much for a table top but maybe just enough.
