This comes well packaged and there is a lot inside the box. It is easy to operate and the flash unit feels very robust. All the peripherals feel good and are easy to use. The case is very good and is great that they include it. However, one you have taken everything out it becomes a challenge getting it all back in. I would have liked to see a bulb protector included by default but buying one was just a few pennies and is a must buy. Charging the battery was easy. There are some very clear LED lights and the time to charge is minimal. I have not used this flash in anger yet but I have every confidence that it will perform well. One negative is that if you don't buy direct from Godox then you don't get the two year warranty. Why!? Very annoying!!!! But overall I am very happy with this product. In my experience, I am very happy with this strobe light. I bought it to replace my off brand speedlights that are power by 4 No. AA batteries. I recently used the AD200 and managed to shoot off 1000 photos at 1/4 power and still have 25% remaining. In the 1000 photos, I counted maybe 1-2 shots the strobe did not fire. Compare to my speedlite, usually 50% of time it doesn't fire. The speedlight head is powerful and the strobe head works well for a studio setup. I'm very happy with my purchase and will definitely buy a second one soon
