Bought this to upgrade and ended up testing it out at a wedding! Sunset passed and the bridal party was kicking up dust and there wasn’t much light from the string lights and led lamps so I busted out my flash and put the X2t-N on my camera and the receiver on my flash and started firing away! The user interface was very different and I think I needed to update the firmware but lemme tell you what, I just added this baby to my crucial gear bag! Every, single, time it fired my flash flawlessly. That alone set it above every other brand of trigger I’ve used (and yes, I’ve used PocketWizard).
Still have a lot of learning to do with this thing, might add a video later. But for having been thrown into the pit untested and unprepared it emerged a champion and proved it’s worth 🔥

I made a HUGE mistake taking out some gear... I thought I had my trigger in my Godox AD 600 bag.... nope, it was a receiver! I wasn't able to use the 600s! Bummer.
I decided since these triggers are so affordable, I'd put one in each strobe bag, and one in my camera bag! So no I own five triggers! Four of these (each lives with a strobe) and the fancier model lives in my camera bag. Hopefully, I'll NEVER forget a trigger again.

Can i mount the x2t on the camera hot shoe with my sb-800 on top as the main light and then use a godox flash with radio capability as a slave?

I used this setup with an SB-700 in the X2T's hot shoe and a Godox V1 flash. The main light (the SB-700) had to be set in manual mode using the flash's controls while the X2T controlled the V1 in either Manual or TTL mode as long as they were assigned to the same group/channel. If the SB-700 is set as the Master while in the X2T's hot shoe, then Manual or TTL preferences can be selected for the main light using the flash's controls and the X2T will control the V1 in either Manual or TTL mode. I'm not sure if the SB-800's capabilities are different.

It is not the same but will control x-series flashes in the same manner. This has an hot shoe on top and the x-pro does not.
If your flash is x-series it should work just fine.
