Photos turned out great!

I took these on my road trip through California, and I also used one at my wedding reception. The photos turned out far more beautiful than I expected. Something about taking these photos “in the moment” make them so much more special.

Why would anybody want this 60 year old technology?

Don't understand but very popular with teen girls (granddaughter, maybe guys too. In days of digital, why this? Film expensive, quality just OK.

Great idea alert!!

I purchased these cameras to give to my 3 year old nephew, so he could take pictures on our big family vacation this year. Haven't gotten the pictures developed yet so we don't know how they turned out, but just showing him the "old school" way to take photos was so much fun! Definitely reccommend doing this if you have little ones.

haven't gotten them developed but love them so far!

i got these for me and my two friends and so far they're easy to use. we even decorated them to know whose is whose. you can just draw on them with sharpie or something. but i've used the flash for every photo i've taken so far even in the daytime because some of the reviews said that the photos will come out dark if you don't. the only time i wouldn't use the flash is if it's like crazy bright outside or something. but i haven't got any of the photos developed yet but i'll come back and edit this review when i do to let you know how they came out. and something i was confused about is how many photos you can take on these because it says 27 photos but 12 free gratuities so on the top of the camera it will say how many photos you can take and mine says 39 so i'm guessing it's 39 photos. when i develop the photos i'll know for sure though.

Great but going out of style

I love the old Kodak cameras, but they just aren’t practical anymore, there’s a reason technology has advanced. These cameras are easy to wind and click but here’s some downsides:
-The viewfinder isn’t as accurate as digital (your thumb will get in the way without you noticing)
-If you move, so will the picture (blurry photos)
-The cost (If you use both of these cameras and fill up each roll, if you don’t have your own darkroom and you go to, say, CVS or Walgreens, printing will end up costing another $30+)
-Don’t shoot at night (Even if it’s moonlit or you have street lights, I promise this camera will not catch any after-dark activity. Even low-light rooms indoors may not catch anything).
But, there are benefits:
-Oldschool grain
-Click & go to enjoy the moment you’re trying to capture instead of waisting time trying to take a good staged photo
-Multi-pack makes a fun, nostalgic date idea
-Teaching newer generations how film and point-and-shoot cameras work

I say, if the downsides don’t worry you, go ahead and buy this! It can be fun!

Blast from the past!

When I was a kid, I used to take a disposable camera to summer camp, to school, out in the neighborhood. We always used these! For my son's first overnight summer camp, a disposable camera was recommended. I found this 2 pack and had to get it.

I showed the camera off to my 14 year old niece and she stared at me like a crazy person. She had no clue what it was! She thought I was lying to her when I told her it was a camera. Anyway, so I gave my son the camera to take to camp. I thought he would've used up all the film in the first day, but when I checked it, he only took 3 photos! What is wrong with these kids?! So now I have 2 disposable cameras all for myself! No idea how if the stores near me will develop it, but these were a big part of my childhood, so I am happy with my purchase!

So very pleased

Such a fun item to being in vacation. I’ll never go on another trip without this. 3/27 pics came out super dark/unrecognizable but that honestly could have been user error at the moment. Highly recommend!!

beautiful photos! turned out way better than expected

was super worried given some negative reviews but the photos turned out great! just need to make sure there’s enough light and subjects are close enough for the flash to work if you’re taking them at night. turn out more grainy than a film camera would but the convienence is well worth it for trips

Then we collect them at the end of the trip so we have pictures of our good time. You can't delete a picture on film ...

No one has physical pictures anymore. We take these camping and give them out to our friends. Then we collect them at the end of the trip so we have pictures of our good time. You can't delete a picture on film that's why I love this product. Sometimes the bad pictures can turn out to be the best

Question & Answer

Question :

are there instructions on the box on how/where to develop the film after you've taken all the pictures?

Answer :

Directions on how to use the disposable. But, no places listed to have them processed. Prices have gone up a bit. Places I like are Walgreen's ($22 per 27 exp. roll) and also CVS charge $15 a roll. Should take a week to get back. You might also check for small indep. stores in your area. Sometimes you can get -REAL good- results with a Kodak or a Fujifilm Disposable camera. Hope this helps.

Question :

what’s the expiration date?

Answer :

I'm sure it varies depending on when you buy it, but I am pretty sure each time we bought it, there was about two years, maybe more, from when we received it before it expired.

Question :

can i use it outdoors only to take photo to

Answer :

Yes. We used these indoor and outdoor. Such a great way to capture memories without all the worries of dials and screens.

Question :

how do you put the battery in this camera?

Answer :

The battery is in the camera. It’s done for you.

Question :

does it come with the 35mm film loaded?

Answer :

All disposable cameras come with a built-in view-finder. This has been covered / many.... many times online. Very simple to use. Honestly, so easy a five-year old child could be taught how to use a disposable camera. Hope this helps.

Question :

How do I get instructions on how to use Fun Saver camera

Answer :

On most disposable / one-time use cameras, you can find instructions on the camera itself. Might need to get a magnifying glass.

Question :

What is the ISO of the film?

Answer :

Believe the speed is 800 with most of those. They can sometime(s) take pics almost as good as a digital camera. DEPENDS on two factors - how close you are to the subject + how much light there is. Most of the time (it helps) if you use the flash. Hope this helps.

Question :

Do the cameras come wrapped individually if I want to use for a stocking stuffer?

Answer :

From what I've seen, those two and three-packs are individually wrapped in foil. Hope this helps.

Question :

what is the expiration date?

Answer :

You would need to message this Amazon seller to find that out. If the expiration date is within the last - say 4 to 5 years, the film inside should likely be okay for use. That has been my personal experience.

Question :

How can I save the photos on my phone?

Answer :

Don't buy the pictures don't come out and it take 4 weeks to develop.
