This thing is awesome for weeding vinyl. Especially all the designs that have intricate small cuts. I was having a hard time weeding this Unicorn mándala and after using this light pad I was able to not only weed it out, but it was much faster and I didn’t have to hunch over to see it. I could weed it while sitting upright which is a plus! It also has a ruler on the edges which is nice if you need to measure something on your pad. Also three different brightness, and I could easily see the lines with the lowest setting. I will attach all 3 pictures depicting the different settings and must say the pictures don’t do this justice! It is even better in person! Plus the clip to keep your project in place is a great idea!

I've been using this for several weeks, and so far, it's been wonderful. I should've bought it a long time ago! I've been using a battery-operated kids' lightboard. Finally I got fed up with the frame around that lightboard, which always gets in the way of smooth, continuous writing. I decided to try this, though I worried that I wouldn't like having it always plugged in. But it's SO much better! It's flat all around, so I can write across a whole page without that frame getting in the way of my hand; I don't have to move the page around. The light is far brighter, so the lines on my guidesheet are very easy to see, even when writing with white ink on very dark scrapbook paper.

I was impressed with this light box. It's our first, but I compared a lot before opting for this one. It was well packed and arrived intact. Upon unwrapping the protective papers, there is an additional peel-away protector on the screen, so it arrived with no scratches. I agree with others that the paper provided is not tracing paper, but the light is so bright, it doesn't matter. There are 3 modes of light. The first is bright, the second is super bright, and the third is unbelievably bright. Level 1 provides enough light to see clearly through regular printer paper. The others allow for seeing through thicker papers. There are only 2 downsides, both related to the clip - 1. The supplied clip lifts the entire unit from the table, which would either snap the clip or the board. 2. The clip doesn't have any padding, so I was careful to not scratch the surface with it. This is not a deal breaker. I would suggest using a different clip if you plan to use this on a table. I saw on cheaper models that you could see black around the individual LED lights. This one is completely white and impossible to see the bulbs. It's also pretty durable. I let my two elementary aged children use it with no concerns on breaking it. The plug supplied works well and the cord is very long. The unit itself is thin enough to slide into most books to trace from it without breaking the binding. In all, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I’m HIGHLY impressed with the packaging of this product. The box was simple but attractive, and was sealed in 3 places. The I opened it.. and wow! The packaging is probably one of the best I’ve seen. The board was secured in all 4 corners, the USB cable fit tightly at one end along with the adapter to put it in. Even the large clip was secured, and the board was wrapped. I feel every vendor should take lessons from this company.
As for the board itself, it’s purpose is to light up my Cricut projects when weeding the vinyl, and it’s amazing!! I highly recommend this product.
