very nice, but too translucent for certain uses
Overall, this is a nice product. But I have some advice for anyone considering purchasing it.
The fabric is not as opaque as that of normal softbox diffusion. You CAN see straight through the fabric and if you're using an un-diffused light source like a bare bulb or direct sunlight, you'll be able to easily see the source through the fabric. (You can see a good example of the translucency in the product photos.) You'll still be able to see a very slight hard edge on the shadows. So in this case, you'll either need a different product, or you'll have to double or triple-up with this diffusion.
So basically, this is great for the following uses:
1) If you're using hard direct sunlight or light from bare bulbs and you want subtly softened light that looks natural and undiffused, yet still soft enough to look pretty.
2) If you're already using softboxes or some sort of diffused light that you want to diffuse even further to create the look of a very large window.
#2 is how I use it. I have 2 strobes with 24x24" softboxes pointed at it from a couple feet away and the light is incredibly soft on the subject. Without the softboxes though, it just doesn't have the same effect.

Product as described
This review is for Neewer 2 Yard x 60 Inch/1.8M x 1.5M Nylon Silk White Seamless Diffusion Fabric for Photography Softbox, Light Tent and Lighting Light Modifier. (ASIN: B019GSCL5S)
The cloth arrived neatly folded inside a little clear bag. It’s edges are folded over and sewn so it won’t unravel. It is white and somewhat see through. So in short, it’s exactly as pictured.
The description at the time I bought this said this item has a light reduction of about 1.0 f-stop. I’m not a professional photographer and to be honest I didn’t know what to expect so I did a crude test to show it’s performance.
I hung a regular household LED bulb (9w 5000k 800lm) up and took a picture from about 6ft away. Then I hung this item about 18in in front of the bulb and took another picture from the same distance. Last I double layered the item, hung it about 18in from the bulb, and took one more picture from the same distance. See the pic I posted for the results.
I’m sure this isn’t how a professional would test the item as it gives no measurable data, but I thought I might help some buyers by showing what a light reduction of 1.0 f-stop look like.
I used this fabric to make a soft box and I’m happy with the results. I would buy it again and I would recommend it to a friend.

Best price, good value, multiple uses.
I originally was looking to purchase the fabric to modify my t5 55 watt florescent Keno Flow like lights. When I received the fabric, I thought I would be great to create a large panel that could have multiple uses. I can use it as a background, a bounce, and a light modifier. I sewed 3 inch pockets on the top and bottom and got some 3/4 PVC to make a stand. Work great as a 5x5 anything. NOW to the important part.
Nylon is prone to folds and creases and will not make a good back drop unless you wash it. The internet told me that commercial sewing of nylon usually is assisted with a chemical that is added to the fabric to stiffen the nylon. The internet was right. The fix, thanks to all those nylon flag flyers, is to wash the fabric. After washing, I was able to steam iron the fabric smooth. (Low Heat Please) Notes; sew first, wash second; it did not shrink.
Cheers!

Great material for constructing your own scrims
Great material for constructing your own scrims. Much cheaper than purchasing name brand pre-made scrims. I'll definitely be ordering several more of these.

Question & Answer
Question :
I know this is not its purpose, but would this be good for rear projection system, showing an image for holiday decorations? is it translucent enough?
Answer :
I hung it in front of closed wooden blinds. I could see the shades through the fabric barely though the fabric. Hope that helps.
Question :
I will be using it for a diffuser to take photos on reflective surfaces (lucite) so need it to be wrinkle-free. Do you think I can iron wrinkles out?
Answer :
You can make it wrinkle free if you wash it in hot water. I put mine in the washing machine twice and then ironed it. If you search on the internet you can get greater detail than I can offer at this time.
Question :
Would this be good for diffusing sunlight in a window? My window is south facing but during the Fall, the angle of the sun is too direct. Thanks!
Answer :
Yes, perfect for that. I built a pvc frame so i can use it outdoors, but you can just hang from window frame inside. A bed sheet also works. Mark.
Question :
If i mount this on a stretched frame about two inches from a 16w led lightbulb, will i be ok on heat? it will make no direct contact with the bulb.
Answer :
I would think so. Leds don't put out enough heat that I'd worry.
Question :
Does this come in red. Or available in red anywhere?
Answer :
Don't think so
Question :
Can this handle high temperatures from halogen lights without bursting into flames? :)
Answer :
I wouldn't risk it, better to use this in a frame or bracket and keep distance from your light for a soft big source spread.
Question :
Can i wrap it directly around led strip to diffuse led light?
Answer :
It’s not recommended but I guess if you wanna be risky you can as long as you know how hot the temperature of the light is. The melting temperature of rip-stop nylon is around 320 F or 160 C.
Question :
we installed led tubes in kitchen and my wife feels they are too bright. might this work to tone it down if placed on the acrylic panels below tubes?
Answer :
Absolutely.
Question :
Hello, I would like to use this to make a light tent/box. Would this work for that?
Answer :
Hello, yes, It Will work., Use It for somethinh similar, anda It worked.
Question :
Has anyone successfully cut this product and used it to diffuse light strips?
Answer :
We have used it over fluorescent lights in our office to dim the glare. Works great
