Great way to organize and display portfolio
Great way to display and organize a portfolio. I bought this for a project I was working on. I printed some sample photos with different papers (lustre, metallic, etc) and different professional printing studios so that I can compare and see which service I will use in the future. Anyways, I had to buy 2 additional packs of displays sheets in order to fit the project. I would not push the binder anymore than 2 additional packs + what was included... it would be too full. See picture.

Nice portfolio books for showing your photos
Even today some interviewers do not want to look at online portfolios and want to see a portfolio of photographic prints. These book are great for actor-model-entertainers and artists to take on go-sees and interviews to show examples of their work.
Pros: Reasonable pricing and nice appearance. The pages are crystal clear and removable so you can adjust the number and type of images in the portfolio to the needs of the project or job you are interviewing for or people you want to show it to.
Cons: None for these books in general. For some reason 9"x12" has long been a requested standard for many model agencies. 8"x12" is closer to the standard SLR and DSLR image format and printing in that size is available at almost any photo printing place while 9x12's are often only available at professional photolabs.

I purchased this item to see how it compares with a portfolio with bound pages. The pages are easy to insert and remove to change a presentation for clients.

My husband gets WoW art work as a patreon subscriber and this holds it perfectly, especially since a lot of artwork is not of standard size. He loves it.

Question & Answer
Question :
This product is listed as a binder and refills. how many "refills" does it come with? i need at least 13 sheets.
Answer :
The binder itself comes with 10 sheets
You can order additional sets of 10sheets per set
Question :
Is the cover hard and protective or soft and bendable?
Answer :
The multi-ring binder covers are rigid enough for protecting the contents. I put original artwork in my binders and am very satisfied with them as far as protecting the art.
Question :
If I have 9 x 12 paintings, will these fit comfortably?
Answer :
The size of the pockets are just a little less than quarter inch larger than 9" x 12". It should allow thick sheets that are no bigger than 9"x12" to fit perfectly. I have 2 photos stored in each leaf with a separating page between them.
Question :
how many rings in this binder?
Answer :
The Itoya Art Profolio Multi-Ring Binder in the 9" x 12" size has 10 rings.
Question :
How thick is the width of the spine of this binder? Ordered one before and it was too thin.
Answer :
The spine is a bit flexible, measuring about 1.25 - 1.5 inches. The binder rings are 1 inch in diameter and can be expected to hold 30 - 40 pages.
Question :
will standard size copy paper fit into this?
Answer :
Yes. FYI, this question brought up the 9 x 12 multi-ring binder I purchased. There is also a 8.5 x 11 multi-ring binder that better fits the standard size copy paper.
Question :
What are the dimentions of this portfilio?
Answer :
The outside dimensions are 13-1/8"x11-1/2"x1-1/4"
Question :
Is this suitable for acrylic paintings?
Answer :
Yes you should be able to insert acrylic painting...make sure they are dry
Question :
How many pages are there in total? Can you buy inserts to add more?
Answer :
12 pages total, but you can put more than one paper in each. So of you do front and back you get 24 pictures. You can possibly add more, but the thickness of the binder may not allow more pages....depending on how thick your paper is.
Question :
Comfortably - how many sleeves can this binder hold?
Answer :
My son uses it and he says that he thinks comfortably 30. He has finished his course with 20 in there and thinks he would have room for about 10 more. The rings on the binder are small. But it definitely suited his purposes.
