BLACKVUE DR900S.. YES!! Please read............
Here is my experience with my purchase of the SanDisk 256GB High Endurance Video microSDXC Card.
I currently have a Blackvue DR900S 2CH dashcam system installed with a Samsung EVO 128GB SD Card. Nothing wrong with this card. The Samsung SD card has treated me well for over a year and has supplied me with quality footage with reliability. I wanted to upgrade to a higher capacity, high endurance SD card without paying an arm and a leg. Our Minnesota summers can get quite hot and humid. The cabin of my car gets pretty steamy hot and frigid in the winter. I wanted a High Endurance SD card that'll last with our Minnesota seasons.
I went through tons of reviews on many SD products and checked all of what Amazon had to offer before I made the decision on this SanDisk 256GB High Endurance Video microSDXC Card. I was pretty skeptical with the low reviews here. I took a chance because other vendor sites sold this specific 256GB card at around the same price. I like Amazon's return policy so I took the chance here.
On to the review. The thing to know off the bat is that this SD card is factory formatted as "exFAT." This factory format is not compatible with Blackvue dashcams. I spent countless hours trying to get this 256GB SD card + adapter to read in multiple Windows 10 laptops. Please remember "Windows 10." Out of curiosity, I then slotted the 256GB SD card into an android device just to make sure I wasn't going crazy. My android device was able to validate the storage and read the SD card... So now.. knowing that it works, I went on a limb and turned on an old laptop loaded with Windows 7. To my surprise, the SanDisk 256GB High Endurance Video microSDXC Card loaded up and I was able to see the drive!!!!!! I do not have Mac products so I cannot say for sure if this'll pop up for Mac. I can only imagine it would work with Mac.
While it was plugged into my Windows 7 laptop, as soon as I saw the drive, I opened up the FAT32FORMAT GUI from RidgeCorp to format it to FAT32. Note, you will have to make sure all windows showing the drive are closed. You should only be seeing your desktop and the FAT32FORMAT GUI from RidgeCorp. Otherwise you'll receive an error that the drive is still in use when you try to format it to FAT32. Did a quick format and within seconds, I was ready to rock. Placed the badboy into my Blackvue DR900S and it booted up! The camera formats the card as it does with any new SD card. After testing this out, I have not noticed any drop in quality from my Samsung EVO 128GB card to this. I did not experience any stuttering in 4K playback.
I really hope this helps avoid stress and hassle for the next person who purchases this or any SD card for their dashcam system. 250+ GB of available storage for my 2CH dashcam system is an amazing win.

Rated for 40MB/s write speed but can double that!
See the CrystalDiskMark results. Sequential writes are 83MB/s which is not far off of Samsung's EVO cards. Random writes are slightly lower than the EVO cards but far exceed expectations and are EXCELLENT for a high endurance card. Certainly this SD card can write with sufficient speeds for a dashcam. Mine is going into a Tesla Model 3 for exactly that purpose.
I have a Samsung EVO Select 128MB card in my Galaxy S9 phone, and that card slowed down over time to the point that it could not record 4k video. I fixed this by reformatting the card and copying the old files back onto it. I read this can happen if the file system gets too crowded but am a little disappointed to have experienced it. I'll report back if I see any slowdown in this high endurance version after months or years of use.
Note: The attached picture shows a 103GB partition. The card did format to the full 128GB, but for my purposes I created two partitions on the same card.

Works great for Tesla Dashcam
I got this to record on my Tesla dashcam after the USB flash drive method failed. This has worked great so far; the images are clear with no corruption and footage isn't missing. I'm glad I got the 128GB because sentry mode can save a lot of footage that eventually fills up the card if I don't remember to clear it. I use it with the SanDisk MobileMate USB 3.0 reader and I have never gotten a "write speed too slow" error message with this.

Works Great for TeslaCam and Tesla Sentry Mode
Used in conjunction with SanDisk MobileMate USB 3.0 microSD Card Reader - SDDR-B531-GN6NN. These two together are exactly what my cars dashcam feature needed. Normal USB 3.0 flash drives constantly resulted in error messages indicating the write speed was too slow. This items has written and re-written dashcam videos without error for several weeks now. Awesome! If you're looking at this for your Tesla Model 3, look no further, it works!

Fastest microSD I have ever owned
Just received the 256GB microSD card. Definitely fast. I plugged it into the adapter and then into my MacBook Pro, and was able to move a 2GB folder over in about 3 minutes. I plan to put this into a video camera, but wanted to test it on the computer first.
A few comments regarding other comments. First, never buy memory cards from a 3rd party on Amazon. Unfortunately there are too many bad companies out there and based on bad experience, 3rd parties are not worth the risk. Make sure it states that Amazon is selling and shipping the product. Second, if you get a memory card that is not in the original manufacturers packaging then you should be suspicious. Third, before you buy a high capacity memory card for a camera check with the camera maker to be sure the camera supports greater than 32GB cards. Fourth, before buying a fast memory card be aware that your camera's hardware may not support the speed of the latest memory cards. Instead it will write to the card at the best speed it was built for. In that case paying for a high capacity AND fast card is a waste.

Fast sdcard for phone – reads small files faster than samsung EVO Select
Bought this for its durability to replace a 128GB Samsung EVO Select in a Galaxy Note 8 after experiencing failure of a rarely-used 64GB EVO Select card that was then replaced under warranty.
Hoping I'll see the expected durability, but speed in this use case is perfectly fine vs. EVO Select. Small 4KB files write to this card 3-5x faster than to EVO Select, and reads speeds are comparable. Speeds are comparable for 1MB writes, but about 50% slower for 1MB sequential reads.
Here are the CrystalDiskMark 8 results for the two cards in the same i5 Win 10 Pro 64 system with the same Transcend card reader:

Worked in Tesla - Read Review
Purchased to use in my Tesla for Sentry mode and dash cam. Tesla needs a card formatted to FAT32, but Windows 10 will only give you the options for larger capacity cards to format in exFAT or NTFS. I tried the exFAT format and that didn't work. Ended up formatting using AOMEI Partition Assistant (free), added the TeslaCam folder after format and all was well. I believe there is also a Windows command line that will format to FAT32 (I did not try this and am not responsible for outcome): format /FS:FAT32 /Q X: (X: being the drive letter of the card you want to format). Hope this helps.

Great for dash cams!
I purchased this as it is the largest capacity (as of 7/29/19) high endurance micro SD available. Great for dash cams and will last through a Texas summer with no problem. When high temps are reaching over 100 for 12 days straight, I can't imagine the temp on my windshield. Yet this card has had zero issues. Dash cam is set to loop, with a parking monitor and G sensor for hard braking, sudden stops. Can also manually save videos. Despite all the looping, I can mark and hold videos with full HD quality. No issues with file corruption or video artifacts. Also, my camera is dual for front and rear video recording. Again full HD on the rear. No issues with both video sources saving at all. I would recommend this card for any with a dash cam, security camera, trail cam, cell phone, drones, action cam, or anything else that gets overwritten regularly or any type of video recording applications.

works in my Tesla Model Y
My Tesla Model Y formatted this 128 GB micro SDXC card without any problem. I bought this card instead of a ssd high cap. drive or a USB stick for it's reliability to write over and over without associated problems that some faster SS drives and USB sticks sometimes have. This is a drive that usually is never backed up, so the reliability is paramount. It is made especially for this purpose, to be continually written over and over again. However, It is new, so I don't know how long it will last, but it is one item that people "get & forget" until it's needed to recall it's data footage. There are numerous videos on the internet explaining reasons not to use regular SSD or USB flash drives. You decide.
Question & Answer
Question :
Are these mlc or tlc?
Answer :
SLC is what you want TLC is marketing bs from Samsung. "S" single layer is more robust just wikipedia mlc and slc. Go to mouser website to buy the industrial sd micro cards that literally last 10x longer, yes you can rewrite the whole card "atleast" 10x. Again go down the rabbit hole on SLC and you will never buy another MLC for high use sd cards like Dash Cams. Get one for your cell phone too and never have to worry about your data for your lifetime. Dash cams though you will likely get about 5-10yrs. depending how long your daily commute is and if you enable nightly parking surveilance. "High Endurance" is a marketing term not a physical technical differenciation.
Question :
What makes this different than a non "high endurance" card?
Answer :
I agree with David D.’s answer BUT, my experience with a Waylens 360 dash cam is that the manufacturer recommends Samsung Ultra High Endurance sd cards specifically. I used a 64 gb card initially and it lasted 7 months. That’s actually pretty good because the camera records when the car is off and parked for up to 2 weeks of uninterrupted parking. Motion or shock causes it to wake up and record. And anytime the car is on it records everything. I just ordered a 128 gb Samsung card for around $ 35.00 and I expect it to last for 14 or so months.
For a dash cam go with Samsung or Sony Ultra Heavy duty because of the beating the camera takes from heat, cold, sunshine, vibration, etc.
Question :
Is this micro sd card compatible with the vantrue n2 pro dash cam?
Answer :
I could not get it to work in mine.
Question :
Could this be useful inside a Samsung 8 plus? & Can you explain why it may not be useful (256 high Endurance sd card)
Answer :
I could be useful definitely. The high endurance aspect is mostly for a lot of writing and rewriting in cases like video that is recorded and the over written often; like for a dash cam or a drone. It is for more harsh environments; shock and water proof. If you are just using it to store photos that you don’t constantly delete and take more pictures then you don’t really need high endurance. This card has read/write speeds of about 20MB/s whereas other cards can be much faster; especially read speeds. You have a lot more options if you don’t need “endurance “ SD cards. One last thing some of these endurance SD card are more easily recovered than normal SD cards since they are used in drones that crash and what not.
Question :
Is this compatible with garmin dash cam mini?
Answer :
Yes just needs to be formatted in the dash cam
Question :
Today is jan 16, 2010 - why is the only delivery option from jan. 21 to june 16?? 6 months for prime delivery sold and ship by amazon.com???
Answer :
Ask amazon you’re asking people who’ve bought and received theirs already
Question :
I bought this sd card for my surveilence cameras, what’s the recommended for time lapse? (how long i should set record length & video length for ?)
Answer :
It is not up yo the card, it is up to you how long the timelapse should be. If you want to record the sunset for 1 hours and make it happen in 30 seconds do the math. 1 hour is 60minutes and one minute is 60 seconds. and 1 second is 30 frames of video (or 24 if you are shooting 24fps). so you will need a calculator.
Question :
Will this work on the Rexing V3 dash camera?
Answer :
they are meant for devices that are constantly recording continuous data..
Question :
How do i format the micro sd for a lidofigo dashcam?
Answer :
Tap screen and settings should pop up click format, just make sure Micro SD is installed correctly. Enjoy your dash cam 📷
Question :
Sandisk offers both high endurance and pro endurance, which supports more write cycles and are there any other differences?
Answer :
Pro endurance supports more write cycles other then that there is no difference
