This is a stand-up company. Intermittant and Failing Remote Charging
Batteries charge fine, however remote charging became intermittent after first use. Currently the remote charging no longer works after second try.
Update: I sent Sandmarc customer service an email to tell them the root cause of the intermittent/failure, not expecting anything. After all I did dismantle the unit to troubleshoot it which typically voids any warranty. They responded stating that the ..."unit you received is defective and we can ship you a new one regardless since our warranty covers all defects (both dismantled or not)". I will post another update once the replacement is received. Regardless, they are a responsive company and as a result, I have upgraded the 'star' rating from 2 to 3.
2nd Update: This is a stand-up company. They honor their warranty and are a pleasure to deal with. They responded to my email regarding teh faulty product, and sent a replacement. I would not hesitate to buy again or recommend them and their products. Because of all this, I upgraded them to a "5-star" rating. Thank you.

So far so good! Charged 2 GoPro 5 batteries and the remote ...
I typically stick with GoPro electronics and just use 3rd party for other accessories mounts etc. But, after reading reviews on this product I decided to give it a try. So far so good! Charged 2 GoPro 5 batteries and the remote just as advertised at one time. Not sure how long they took to charge as I charged them overnight. The post on the charger retains the remote with the same type of clip as the factory charger and lanyard use. The only thing that would be nice is a status light for the remote. The batteries have status light but not the remote.

Works great and at a great price
Really this thing is pretty great. You cannot beat the price for a multi battery and remote charger that actually works.
I use this for my Gopro 4 and 7 and charges them both fine. I may even buy a second one because i have soo many batteries between 2 cameras and would be nice to have more charging at one time.
If you use your Gopro alot and have multiple batteries, this is a must have!

The charger is good quality, and works fine with the GoPro Remote (which I have)--but isn't compatible with my GoPro Hero5 Black battery, despite what's written on the charger's packaging and Amazon description.
I included photos so you can check if you have the same batteries I do before you make your decision to purchase this charger.
If you look closely, you can see the pins in the charging stand are recessed--and can't make contact with the pins on the battery.
I returned this item for a refund--which is a pity, because the charger is good quality, looks good, compatible with my remote, and doesn't take up a bunch of space.
