MINIFOCUS 1'' Ball Clamp Mount with Cold Shoe Ball Mount Head Base Adapter Connector for Diving Light Arm Underwater Camera Waterproof Housings Case Video/Flash/Strobe Hot Shoes

Question & Answer

Question :

Can this be mounted on the olympus PT-059 underwater housing?

Answer :

Yes, but you need to buy a SeaLife cold shoe mount. The alternative is to get a light tray on which you will mount both the camera housing and the light(s). This is my setup.

Question :

I want to mount this light on a gopole for use with a gopro. i want to mount it so it is suspended underneath the gopro. hardware recommendation?

Answer :

Mounting beneath a GoPro together on a GoPole may be tricky if I am picturing this correctly. You might need to get the SeaLife ball adapter then find some kind of dual GoPro mount and GoPro to ball adapter. Either that, or mount the light to the side of the pole in some way instead of at the top.

Question :

Will this light work with a GoPro Camera ?

Answer :

Yes it will work good but you might want to get the 2500 flood with tray version. It will come with a gopro mount to attach go pro on tray

Question :

Can you mount this to a flex arm that has a ys adapter? If yes does it need any other additional parts to make it fit?

Answer :

Yes, you should be able to remove the flex connect YS adapter allowing you to insert the Flex connect at the bottom of the video light directly into the Sealife flex arm.

Question :

Would this light require a fiberoptic connecting cable to work with an olympus tg6 and pt-059 camera/housing system?

Answer :

No cable required, it is not a flash. This is a led light. It is always on

Question :

Can this be mounted on other tray setup?

Answer :

That might be difficult. It has a connector suited for a sealife tray. Maybe sealife or third party vendors sell adapters.

Question :

This light come with the sealife sl998 flex-connect handle or similar

Answer :

This listing is the head only and will clip into any handle, arm or tray. We could make a combo with a handle for you tho. Just email us at New England Dive and we can build your custom light system
