Essential accessory
I wouldn't use my 51" Selens umbrella without this diffuser. But, with it, it is a great duo providing very pleasant lighting for portraiture and boudoir photography.

Works as intended.
Diffuses light as it should. I feel like it should have been included with the umbrella, but that’s just a personal opinion. Five stars for product quality though.

Works with 64” PLM
I bought this to add another layer of diffusion to my 64” PLM from Paul Buff. It fits just fine and gets the job done.

Question & Answer
Question :
Will this fit over 60 inch umbrella?
Answer :
The 65 inch diffuser will fit a 60-inch umbrella. The diffuser has an elastic band that will cinch up the additional material.
Question :
Will this fit any model of 16 rod 51" umbrella?
Answer :
Yes.
Question :
Will this accommodate a 72" umbrella if stretched?
Answer :
Hi, Thank you for your question. The diffuser soft light cloth size is: 65 inches/165 centimeters.
Question :
Is this one or half stop diffusion?
Answer :
I'm not sure actually. I haven't used it yet. I purchased it for a specific session next month.
Question :
Would the 51" fit a 54 umbrella?
Answer :
No - trying to do this would bend the spokes of the umbrella and likely damage them.
Question :
Will the 64inch work for a 59in umbrella?
Answer :
Yes - you can use a larger diffuser on a smaller umbrella. The diffuser has an elastic band that can cinch up the additional material.
Question :
Will it stretch to fit a 43” umbrella?
Answer :
Assuming the "it" is the 65" diffuser it would be far too large for a 43" umbrella. If, however, Amazon mixed the questions and you are referring to the 41" version then the answer is maybe but would have to test it.
Question :
Is the opening in this cover big enough to put a monolight through or is it intended for a speedlight?
Answer :
Hi, Thank you for your question. This diffuser opening is big enough to put a monolight or a speedlight through.
Question :
Would the 65 inch diffuser also be suitable for a 60 inch diameter umbrella or would it be too large?
Answer :
Out of the box it might be slightly too large; however it is elasticated so it might work. That being said, I can't imagine it would be too hard to take a small tuck in it to make it fit.
Question :
I have a 45" diameter umbrella; would I be better off getting the 41" or the 51"?
Answer :
I would find one that fits the 45. I wouldn't want it too baggy or not big enough.
