Perfect to stabilize my 360 camera tripod

If those are usually for stabilizing three axle camera gimbal, I found a new useful use for them. I bought two of those, which screw perfectly into each others, and now that gives me some extra weight to put between my mini tripod and my 360 camera stick. That way, the camera stays very stable while having the stick completely extended, even if there are some wind blowing.

They are also very nicely build, and have a convenient 1/4 screw thread in one side, and 1/4 tripod screw on the other, which made them compatible with many tripod setup.

It do what it be for.

I dont honestly know what to say, it's a weighted thing for balancing stuff, or throwing through windows, maybe use it as a sling bullet, make a little trebuchete and throw it at your neighbors house. Put it in a present at Christmas to trick people into things what they got is heavier than what it is..

Nice machine work.

Very nice machine work. There isn't much to say about a weight, but these are really nice. I used them on my Celestron CPC 1100 telescope to help counter balance the camera equipment added to automate it.

Easy to use

Just what I needed. After my camera got blown over I had to get something. This works well. I was able to place the tripod on a slant in light wind without it falling over.

Great piece of kit

This little guys do exactly what they are supposed to. The weight and feel of it is solid and speaks of quality machining. The 1/4 mount makes it easy to mount to your gimbal/counterweight/whatever that has the appropriate mount. A side note, these 200g are really big. Make sure you have the clearance to use them if using them on a gimbal.

360 camera

I put 2 at the bottom of my 360 selfie stick and it works great. The insta360 one x2 stitches it out when the selfie stick is fully extended.

Question & Answer

Question :

Will this fit on moza air 2?

Answer :

The counterweight has a 1/4-20 threaded stud on one side and 1/4-20 threaded hole on the opposite side. 1/4-20 threads are a standard thread size in the photo/video industry. Just check the thread size of the whole that you want to trade it in to for the post that you want to shred it on to. I do not own a moza Air 2 but I would imagine if it has threaded holes on it they're most likely quarter 20.

Question :

whats the dimension ?

Answer :

Hello,
The dimension is 37X37X30.3mm.

Question :

would this work as a counter weight for my oculus 2?

Answer :

It should work on any device that needs a 1/4” threaded counterweight.

If you aren’t sure the size of threads, most camera tripod mounts have a 1/4” threaded shank on top, that’s the same size.

Question :

does this fit with a dove tail to balance a ronin M?

Answer :

I would stick to getting multiple of the smaller weights since the 200g is significantly wider but it should work

Question :

Will this fit on the Weebil S?

Answer :

Hi,
Thank you for interesting in SmallRig.
Yes, it works well with Zhiyun Weebill S, but it need to used with other SmallRig accessories.
