Good for Agility Equipment

I bought these to hold sand that I place inside Agility Tunnel Bags. Most folks who have agility equipment place gravel in their tunnel bags and jump weight bags because water gets in and stays in the sand, making the tunnel bags and jump weight bags even heavier to move around. I decided to save $$ and go with playground sand instead, which was half price at the time. I decided to use flood control sandbags to help keep the sand drier. I also use some cheap watertight grocery bags that I placed these sandbags filled with sand into to use for holding down jumps. So far, no water has crept into the sand inside my tunnel bags or the cheap grocery bags to cause them to become heavier.

1) Quality 👍🏾👍🏾2) price 👍🏾👍🏾

These are strong. We bought 50lb plastic bags of sand, squeezed them into these sandbags and used the provided ties to close the bags.

Good bags, but these sidewalls are a little limper than others.

I like these bags. Well made and I'm sure they'll hold up for years. But we bought similar bags that are white, and while shoveling sand into them we found that the white bags don't need to be held open while filling. These green bags DO need to be held open or the sides droop over. So one person has to hold the bag while the other shovels. Course, the white bags are also blindingly ugly when set out, while the green bags blend in really well (We're using these for target backstops).

Good Sand Bags

Filled about 20 some with sand mix from bags that there falling apart other with dirt rock mix and more with a pea gravel. In the winter I put up a portable garage for the motorcycle, the sand bags go around to hold the whole thing down and keep it more weather tight. The green color looks better than the white.

Very sturdy product, not cheaply made.

Product arrived the next day, everything was just as advertised which is why I chose to purchase the product in the first place. Price could have been a little better but if I get a couple years out of them it's worth the money.

Just what I would have expected

My son and I used two of these in addition to the other sand bags we already had. While I can't comment on the durability they were exactly what I would have expected and its obvious can hold a lot of sand. While I'm sure we could have filled them up to 40 pounds (or close to it); we only needed about 10 - 15 pounds in each bag; so there was still lots of room.

For the basketball hoop

I bought a bag of sand from Home Depot and it fit perfectly in one of these bags. I get very high winds at my house and my hoop has fallen a few times even with the stuff you buy at dicks sporting goods that goes in the base doesn’t weigh it down enough. Since I’ve added the sandbags I have yet to see my hoop fall. I place about 4 bags of sand on the base of my hoop. Without the sandbags, the packaging the sand comes in isn’t durable and rips leaving a huge mess. I recommend

Great sandbags

They seem very sturdy and they have been in the Tucson sun for around 6 weeks in July and august, and show no sign of deterioration. The ties work well, and they were a lot less expensive than others. I am very happy with them.

Excellent product at best price.

I bought this product to prepare for the hurricane season here in Florida. To my surprise, this is an excellent product and the price is great. As a 30 years military veteran, I have seen plenty of sandbags in my life and this is one of the best. I opted for regular shipping and I received it within 3 days. Outstanding! I will recommend this product to anyone.

Durable

I'm putting about 50 lbs of pea gravel and stacking them 5 high for my needs and they work great. It's a good size and everything is as I'd hoped/expected. I'm confident these will hold up against our long rainy winter season and long dry high heat summer for at least 3-4 years I'm sure - maybe more.

Question & Answer

Question :

will these hold up to very cold weather in back of truck for snow traction?

Answer :

I’ve bought these and have had them outside for a year now and they’re still good. I live in NM where the sun eats everything quick and we have 113 degree weather in the summer and as low as 13 degrees in the winter.

Question :

Do these bags leak sand after they are filled and sealed? Having trouble finding bags that do not like sand

Answer :

They do not leak sand. The bags are the best you can buy.

Question :

Are these bags water resistant

Answer :

Resistant yes, definitely not water proof and resistance will decrease as sun rays degrade the material

Question :

if no UV exposure, can these be used to build earthbag structures?

Answer :

Yes without UV these can be used. However structural engineering is required for properly interlocking the bags and the amount of sand per bag. As with all earthen structures, varmint tunnels will weaken the structure.

Question :

How heavy are these with sand in them?

Answer :

We recommend filling sandbags from a little over 1/2 to 2/3rds full. If filled to that amount, they should weigh between 40 and 50 lbs.
