Answer :
it'll slide right onto a 15mm standard rod and tighten. I've been using it for months now on everything from Canon DSLRs to several models of Blackmagic cameras as well as my Sony EX1 even. it comes with a gear ring that can be mounted on just about any lens and works great with lenses that already have a gear on it.
Sidenote: I also have the new mini matte box and that comes with a rod as well as a tool to attach the matte box tot he rod if you want extra support even though its a type of clamp on matte box. Well, if you clamp your matte box onto a lens that doesn't telescope out when zoom or focusing you can also mount the fallow focus to that rod and let it float there if you can't attach the rod to a baseplate or camera cage. Does that make sense? I'm not sure if i described it well. lol. just a sidetone though.

Can it work with Nikon Z6 and Nikkor 24-70mm f:4 lens?
Answer :
I use it with my Z6 and it works but I cannot remove the hard stops. You should be able to remove them by taking out the center screw (there is even a YT video on it) but that screw will not come out on my unit no matter how hard I twist and I am afraid to strip it. Since the follow focus is not very big, the hard stops serve no function for bigger lenses. You can loosen them but they hit each other and you can hear it while recording.

Answer :
This follow focus will be able to mount on any camera with a 15mm rod. It will work with any lens that has a .8 gear pitch. The follow focus comes with a gear ring adapter for lenses that do not have gears on them.

i'm using dual 15mm rod mount and putting bmpcc4k on a glidecam/flowcam stabilizer - i don't need additional motor to get this to work?
Answer :
You wouldn’t be able to touch this follow focus on a glide-cam type stabilizer, bc you will unbalance the rig once you do. This follow focus isn’t motorized nor can it be.
