Excellent alternative to the Ring.com solar panels
I purchased a 2 pack of these for 2nd Generation Ring.com Stick up Battery cameras that require the DC ‘barrel plug’. They seem to work very well and are much less expensive than the Ring.com solar panels ($66 vs $98) - the only thing to mention is that once the 2 small screws are removed to install the plug on the back of the camera (which may not apply to the Spotlight Camera) is that the existing screws will NOT work with the plug on the solar panel. You need to get #4 x 3/8” machine screws and these will work very well to attach the plug to the back of the Stick Up Camera. A packet of these was $1.38 at Lowes. Other than that, they work very well and it’s always nice not to have to swap out a battery in the Ring Cameras and just let them do what they are designed to do.

Great product, great value, great seller.
These solar panels for my Ring stick-up cameras with batteries were the lowest pricd by far of all similar products. I got a great deal on Amazon Prime Day. They arrived promptly, although there were issues with the packaging. Seller was very responsive to my comments and followed up. Great customer service.
The panels were ridiculously easy to install, each taking about 5 minutes or so. I'm a 68 year old lady with three broken toes in a cast boot, climbing up a ladder to do this, and it was still easy.
At the time of installation, the batteries were charged to 82% but after about three or four hours of sunlight, they charged to 100% and have remained fully charged.
I highly recommend this product and the seller. So glad I found this!

Working Great...
I installed these Wassertein solar panels for my Ring cameras a week ago. They work great so far. I had installed the Ring cameras a couple of weeks prior and was playing with the settings that whole time so the batteries were hovering at around 54% when I installed these panels. After installation, the batteries came up to full charge after several hours of sunlight and have stayed between 90-100% charge since. I actually like these better than the Ring solar panel which I also have for two reasons: 1. You can rotate the panel portrait or landscape once installed which you can not do with the Ring solar panel and 2. The connector mounts securely to the camera with two screws whereas on the Ring panel, it just pushes into the connector - no secure mount. Beats busting out the later, removing the batteries, charging the batteries, and reinstalling the batteries every few weeks. If my experience changes with these along the way, I will come back and revise my review but for now, 5 stars as they are easy to install and work great.

Perfect panels to keep my Ring Spot at100%
Purchased the two pack of these panels for my spotcams. Although I wasn't able to use the supplies mounts, the panels installed in little time. Direct match up to my Ring spots with no modifications necessary for hooking up. Could have been a lot quicker if I was able to use the mounts. The only item I would mention is the mounts are not quality but rather thin plastic. Regarding charging, the first panel charged my cam from 89% to 100% in a couple hours. The second one started at 73% and is 90% now. 5 hours of sunlight plus 1 hour yesterday. Extremely happy with charging rate.

Know ur angles of the sun & your battery will stay at 100% after you charge the battery up first!!!!
Works great, first off… charge your battery up first and then put in the solar panel. I was reading everyone else reviews and half of them don’t know what they are talking about. You need to know the angle you need to line with the sun at all times. Example: Boise, ID for the summer angel is 72 degrees and winter is 24 degrees. Other example: Washington D.C. 74 degrees summer and 39 degrees winter. If you wonder how I got it… I learn it in college but you can google it . It works for Ring Stick Cam Battery
I had questions on this product if it works or not.
1, Can I hook this panel with Ring Stick Cam Battery?
2, How effective it will charge?
3, will electric get drained back to the panel and lose power when there's no sunlight?
Here are answers after I received this product and ran some testing:
1, After receiving both Ring Cam and this panel. I noticed the charging plug of this panel fits perfectly with the charge hole on the back of the Ring Cam.
2, Exposed from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM under Texas sun light in Oct. It can charge 5% each hour. Note: when Ring Stick Cam Battery run in Battery mode, it consumes about 1% of battery each day. So, it's way more than needed when there's a few hours charge.
3, I didn't notice any extra power drainage over night when there's no sun light.
So far so good on this product. Recommend it!

Great for Ring Battery Cams
THESE ARE AWESOME. They keep my two Ring Battery cameras charged so I never have to worry about them. And they were cheaper than the Ring branded ones. They come with good mounting hardware so they’re easy to secure to the outside of your house. VERY SATISFIED.

Seems the same as the Ring brand one
I installed four Ring stickup cam with 2 ring brand solar panel and 2 with the Wasserstein brand. I found they worked the same but the Wasserstein provided more angel for the panel’s position compare to the Ring brand. Since it’s cost less and more feature , I will go with the Wasserstein if I need to install more camera in the future.

Awesome - keeps Ring Stick-up Cam batteries fully charged!
I purchased four of these and I couldn't be more pleased. Three of the four are in places where they rarely or never get direct sunlight, but all of them keep the batteries 100% charged. In fact (and note that i live in the Seattle area where it can be cloudy all day), none of my camera batteries has ever dipped below 98%. I can't compare against the Ring batteries (because I have not tried them) but I can tell you that these have exceeded my expectation.

Amazing solar panels for my Ring cameras
These solar panels are amazing! They work PERFECTLY with my Ring Spotcam and the Ring Stickup cameras. The stick up camera is in the backyard and doesn’t even get a ton of sun (as you can see on the picture) like the front yard spot light camera does and the panel still keeps my battery fully charged. Super easy to install and they plug straight in to the Ring cameras. Highly recommend!
Question & Answer
Question :
Will this work with the new ring stick up cam battery?
Answer :
I've had one plugged into my ring stick up cam for almost a year. Batteries never went below 95 and 85 with almost continuous use. Make sure you change them manually before using the solar charger. It will work to charge them, but takes too long and makes you feel like they're not charging for the first couple of days.
Question :
What is the name or plug syle on the solar pannel
Answer :
The plug is a small barrel-type plug
Question :
Will it work when using only one battery in the cam?
Answer :
Yes it will, I have only 1 battery in my spotlight cam and it works great.
Question :
Does anyone know what size the screw is that connects the panel to the ring? We lost ours.
Answer :
I reached out to Ring and they sent me one for free
Question :
Why are these no longer screw-in weatherproof lights? All of the instructions refer to screwing them in to insure they are weatherproof.
Answer :
The screws come with your initial Ring wireless camera. I made the mistake of discarding them then later realized I needed them for the solar panel. Had to go and order some
Question :
Can I use two panels for one camera?
Answer :
Would need an adapter to plug 2 panels into camera. 1 panel works great with proper sunlight.
Question :
Can I use this panel with an Arlo pro 2 camera?
Answer :
onl work with ring
Question :
How can I tell if the panels are working once plugged into the ring? Is there a status light? Ring cameras do not have a charging indicator?
