Unbelievably beautiful watch and priced with good value at under $60.00. Dark blue dial and unidirectional bezel with screw down crown and 200 meters of water resistance. Dive band is nice and solid ,however I changed things up with a silicone blue stitched sporty band. (Band size is 22mm, not 26.5 mm or what is stated in product specs). This watch arrived in less than half the time stated(came in two weeks). Thanks Casio and thanks Amazon! |

★★★★★ | Best value watch you can buy or best diver you can buy under a 50. |

I bought the Omega planet ocean orange bezel insert and put it on the blue version and put the blue on my black version which makes me very happy with both watches. You won't be disappointed with this watch. |

★★★★★ | Awesome! |

I love it. Looks great, keeps good time like any quartz watch, and I feel like I am getting away with something paying $56 for it! It's pretty large at 44mm, but fits well on my 7 5/8 inch wrist. I have other watches that I paid a lot more for, and they are great too, but this one is just as good in my opinion for what it is, and especially for this price. Highly recommended. I put it on a cheap nato strap from cheapestnatostraps.com which I think compliments it nicely. The stock strap is fine, but boring. |

★★★★★ | Blue Duro is King of Value |
Color: Blue | Verified Purchase |
I have owned the black Duro for about 8 years and it has never failed me. I have gone swimming with it...Diving with it. and everything else that you would consider tough on a watch...and it has held up strong. So when i saw the Blue Version i just had to have it...and i must say it is a Beautiful Blue...Just love the color..The second hand its all the markers dead center,,,Casio always seem to have great quality control...This watch is a downright steal for the price...Cant recommend highly enough....Dont walk to buy it....RUN!!! |

★★★★★ | The legendary Casio Duro Marlin in Blue! |
Color: Blue | Verified Purchase |
No point in reviewing the watch itself as it is THE Casio Duro and has been reviewed to death. The difference here is that you can now get it with blue face and bezel and get it you should! It is a real stunner. Replace the silicon strap with the Seiko Original Stainless Steel Jubilee Watch Band 22mm and voila! You now have something that looks like a $400+ diver. The Seiko band can be had for $39.00 here in Amazon and is an exact fit for the Duro. So for less than $100.00 you get a spectacular, rock solid diver. |

★★★★★ | Perfectly blue |

I bought the original maybe ten years ago and still wear it, albeit with a battery change and a couple of strap changes just for the sake of updating the look, not because I was let down by the original dive strap (rubber, not plastic as another review here states). As soon as I saw the two new Duros I knew it would be just a matter of time before I caved and bought the blue one.
In the meantime I had bought one of Casio's Enticer series with a blue face so I knew what the new Duro would look like in blue but my expectations were more than exceeded when I opened the box. I gave the Enticer away as soon as the blue Duro arrived.
With the face and bezel both sporting the same brilliant blue enamel, the watch looks bigger than its older brother and a lot more expensive. The original black & stainless model has red on the second hand but, I was happy to see, not in this new edition. Apart from looking a bit low budget, red is a recessive colour that I find hard to read and I stay away from watches that have hands that are red or blue, which is also recessive.
I only wish the date window and numerals were as big as in the Enticer series because while I can read the date on the Enticers, I'm clueless with the Duro except by fishing out my glasses. Or my cell phone. The absolute best would be readable day & date windows as on most Seiko-5s but that's not something I care enough about anymore to make me buy a Seiko instead of the Duro, especially considering the crazy increase in the prices of Seiko-5s recently.
I considered leaving the classic dive strap on but a lot of the pleasure for me in buying watches is in customizing the look with a different strap. Wanting to maintain the dive practicality, I chose a black silicone strap but one flared & notched where it clips onto the lugs as with the straps you see on a Bell & Ross or Hublot, the additional touch that makes this new Duro a knockout. |

★★★★★ | My new favorite |
Color: Blue | Verified Purchase |
This was my very first watch that I have purchased for myself and I think this is even my very first Amazon review on a product. I have been buying products often since 2015 and could not pass up writing a review this time
This watch... the photos do not do it justice. how it shines in the light is eye catching to me. Everyone online already talks about the Casio Duro and this seems to be a Duro just in a blue colored dial. Beyond that it has become my new favorite watch. It is comfortable, looks stunning and I can see myself wearing it for years on different adventures. It is sold out at the time of this review but I really would recommend giving it a chance if it comes back in stock |

★★★★★ | Incredible watch for the price. |
Color: Blue | Verified Purchase |
One of the best, if not the best dive watch at this price point. The watch is even more impressive in person, the blues are incredible. Only one complaint, the band is not the greatest. At this price you can throw a Barton elite on it and have a great everyday/beater watch you can dress up if need be. I would definitely recommend this for any collection. |

★★★★★ | Very nice dive-inspired watch for the price! (Get two...) |
Color: Blue | Verified Purchase |
I have the all black version of this quartz movement dive homage watch. I liked the black one so much, I also added this blue model to my collection. It's low-cost, but it is a lot of watch for the price. I would say it's working above its pay grade. I've copied my review for the black one below since they are essentially the same watch, except this one has a beautiful blue face and matching unidirectional bezel. I also like the Marlin motif on the face and on the back. I would add a couple points to my other review: -My black model has a very stiff bezel and I used some silicone gel to start loosening it, but this blue model has a perfect bezel that clicks very satisfactorily. -They both have the screw-down crown for some water resistance, and they come with a sport band that in the black model I swapped out with a black Art-Style brand nylon NATO...compared to the thicker bands I have had on Seiko mods, these Casio bands are thinner and much more comfortable. I may leave this one alone, but switching to a NATO takes about two minutes. A black and blue striped NATO would be nice with this watch.
I should mention that I have since also added a very nice Invicta automatic to my collection (it's not as overbearing as some models), and I have reviewed that one also:

Here is my review for the black Casio model: If you're into dive and dive-inspired watches, you could spend anywhere from $100 to $1000 (or more). Or, if you just like the style but don't have a lot to spend -- but you still like a great-looking watch -- you can't possibly do better than this Casio quartz (battery-operated) diver that's reminiscent of all the famous expensive brands from Seiko on up. For $50 this is a serious watch with great cred. It's a legendary Casio, but besides this credential, it's also a beautiful stainless steel chunky and stylish sporty watch for everyday use. Look, this one has a serious black dial with a cool marlin logo on it that claims water resistency to 200M. I'm not planning to use it for diving (except in the sink maybe), but I wouldn't be surprised if it was rated that depth because it sports a screw-down crown. That's right -- the first requirement for a true diver is being able to keep the movement from taking on water. Second, it has a sharp unidirectional bezel that yes, unidirectionally rotates. Mind you, you might need some silicone to get it loosened up (it'll take your nails off the first couple times), but it clicks very nicely and everything. The face has a very visible date window at 3:00, arrow and spear white and silver hands plus a red and white-tipped spear second hand. No numbers on the face, only white circles and white rectangles (at 3, 6, and 9, though the 3 is shortened by the date) and a typical diver's double squared-off delta at the 12:00. The back is a screw-down, and even that feature is often reserved for more expensive watches. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the comfortable and classic Casio dive band, but it swaps out easily and I replaced it with one of my favorites, an ArtStyle ballistic nylon NATO strap in black. Honestly, this may be the best $50 (plus $11 band) watch buy I've ever made (a couple Timex Expedition chronographs come close, and they only had a pop-off back which I tend to dislike). Even if you're a watch snob, you have to admit this is a pretty watch for the money, and as a Casio it will work fine under any circumstances. I have one of the original Casio digitals from the 70s and that little guy still works. This Casio stacks up very well indeed next to some Seiko automatics and Seiko mods in my collection, and honestly looks better than an Invicta. So...now to decide whether a blue face should join this one!

★★★★★ | Awesome value, awesome looks |

Just got this Casio and couldn't wait to write a review for it. I have 40 or so watches, but this one watch really got me excited. I shouldn't be surprised, given previous reviews. I have some nice watches, but it is kinda cool to really admire the aesthetics of a watch like this, given the value. Now, I'll see how it handles wear/tear and will monitor the accuracy. I'm hoping for the best. This watch really stood out with the blue bezel and blue dial. It is about my favorite case size of 44mm. I did order a Seiko 22mm Jubilee watch band to replace the plastic band. No hurry. This strap isn't bad. feels comfortable. Incredible value thus far. In fact, so much so I ordered the black gold Duro/Marlin. I can see why it is considered a classic with a cult-like following. I even Youtubed the various mod videos. I may replace the crystal with a sapphire crystal at some time. I would concur with other reviewers. Can't go wrong with this Casio. I'll update this review if something disappoints at any given time. |
