I love that I can turn off anything individually. If I'm working with an angle grinder and need to change blades, or with a soldering iron and don't need it for a half hour or so. This thing is great. I even have shop lights plugged in so I just hit the switch and don't need to walk around pulling chains everywhere. The main switch seems lower quality than the rest, so I just leave that on and switch off what I want, but I'm happy with the purchase. The cable management is really nice to have too. You'll want a label maker to label what stays plugged in.

The power strip I have been using, which I bought thinking it was also a surge protector, actually wasn’t. Yeah, so obviously I needed surge protections for my home office against power surges, which has happened since I moved into the new place a few months ago. I mean, while it is merely extension cords with no protection, it kind of gave me that surge protector vibe to my defense.

So this power strip is safely giving me extra power I need for my home office.
15 amp circuit breaker equipped with instant response to catastrophic events and overloads for maximum protection. According to the product detail information, it is rated at 1020 Joules of protection, which I believe would be sufficient protection for power tools and office equipment such as printers, copiers and routers.
Other things I liked about this one is that its long power cord, Also, 12 outlets are widely spaced which makes all of them useful even with wider adapters. Lastly, I always prefer individual switches, where the light will come on to let you know which one is in use.
To be honest , I didn’t really look at the dimension of this power strip, and it is HUGE! So make sure you check it before ordering.
I have just enough space so I can put this (you can also mount it to the wall if you prefer) in the space between desk and bookcase. It feels rather heavy but I definitely prefer quality material that feels sturdy over cheap ones for sure. Overall, I am extremely happy with this power strip that gives me a peace of mind! Again, don’t make a mistake like me in that not all power strips are surge protectors and get the right one :)

Perfect For Our Power Tool Charging Center

This comes in a long box. It has a great heavy duty cord.
CORD AND PLUG
This cord is heavy duty. The plug is 3 pronged, but is flat and at an angle for easy plugging into an outlet behind furniture.
WHAT WE USE IT FOR
We have this hanging on the wall behind our shelf that holds the recharging units for power tools including our snow blower. This allows us to keep the ones we want plugged in without having to worry about being unplugged by someone else. We just use the switches to turn on what we want when we want.
WHAT ABOUT TRANSFORMERS?
We have a few larger transformers that do take up more than one spot, but there are so many outlets on this, it is not a big problem.

I have quite a few cordless battery chargers and it can be a pain to plug in each one when you need it. So this strip really comes in handy. I and turn on and off the charger I want. I've had smaller "switched" strips, but this is nice to have 12 outlets all on one strip.
It is pretty well made for what it is. The main body is metal an heavy duty. It's a good looking unit. The ends also have mounting locations, very nice, but they are plastic. If they only made the ends metal, it would be perfect. Also like how the ends have cord management, that will help tame the cords.
Plugged it in and everything works as it should. Easy to control each outlet as you want.
