★★★★★ | Must have for long exposure photography work! |

I love GOBE’s ND Filters. I have a large assortment of them, but the ND1000 is always a lot of fun to pull out to create super dramatic long-exposure shots.
These filters are top notch quality and have rivaled any of the “expensive” ones I’ve bought. After using these for over a year I’d recommend them hands down! |

★★★★★ | Works well |

This is a good 10 stop ND filter. My photographs frequently have water as part of the subject. This ND filter allows for long exposures and does not add a lot of color cast so the colors I develop in the image are natural looking. The filter threads on easily, snugly and it stays put. It is constructed well and comes in a great protective case. The foam in the case holds the filter snugly but has indentations that aid in your fingers being able to grip the lens to remove it from the case. This is important to me because I often will be changing filters in the field in areas of sand, mud, water, grass, forest floor etc. The lens stays put in the case and doesn't fall out and yet it is easy enough to remove when I need to add the filter in a hurry. |

★★★★★ | Great of waterfalls. |

Great for waterfalls. I would suggest getting mutiple shades of tint for different lighting situations. This one is very dark.

★★★★★ | Color Intact no noticeable vignetting |
Size: 72mm | Verified Purchase |
I didn't do proper conversion with shutter speed so my final image with filter on was underexposed. I also took too long to screw in the filter so the sun brightness was going down as well. So I had to some editing to make exposure similar. I don't see any color shift or vignetting. The only con is difficulty screwing it in but for the price, excellent filter! They send lens cloth as well as bonus! Nice little filter case as well
First Photo is filter off and second photo is with filter on. |

★★★★★ | High end quality on real budget |

I was researching for a while to find a good ND filters for my landscape photography and in my budget. You can find some filters to be extremely expensive and others to cheap. This filter is in the mid range, but I can tell you that the quality of the filter and construction is like the high end expensive filters. Gobe has three options of filters for beginners, semi professional and pro photographers. Those are classified beginnersGobe Peak1, semi pro Gobe Peak2, and Gobe Peak3 for pro level so these options help you to chose according to your experience. I really like this filter and I’m adding two more from Gobe. Another thing that I really appreciate from Gobe is for every purchase they plant five trees. Nice gesture guys!!! |

★★★★★ | Very Dark ND Filter |
Size: 72mm | Verified Purchase |
I had my first chance to make use of this filter today. This filter allowed for and in fact required MUCH longer exposure times than two seperate Android Apps calculated I would need. That's a good thing by the way if your in the market for a 'ten stop' ND filter.
Images produced had little to no color cast; Another good thing for an ND filter that I'm fairly certain is much darker than specified here. I made sure to use a custom white balance profile which likely helped in this area of performance. |

★★★★★ | It is a great way to start playing with new types of shots |
Size: 49mm | Verified Purchase |
So filters at the very high end can get very expensive. At the low end, they are just complete trash. This slots in a good value range where you can get some REALLY good looking shots and play with different filters and have a good enough filter to allow you to find out which filters are your favorite. Then, If you are a professional photographer, you would probably want to invest in a more expensive filter to make sure there is nothing wrong with any of your shots.
As an hobbiest photographer, I will probably just keep this in my bag since there are no easily noticable blemishes in my photos even when I look at them in lightroom or print them out. |

★★★★★ | Great filter, just not for videography |
Size: 72mm | Verified Purchase |
I wanted to get an ND filter to use while filming on those bright sunny days when you're overexposed at anything less than F16. However, this is much too powerful for video work, but would be perfect for long exposure photography as other reviewers have mentioned. When I got the filter, I stuck it on my lens and took it outside to see how it worked. No exaggeration, the image was pitch black on a bright summer day in full sunlight even at F1.4 and shutter 1/60. I had to push the ISO up to 1600 to get it properly exposed, but then you're adding grain which isn't desirable. Still giving it 5 stars though because it works like it should, just doesn't fit my needs. |

★★★★★ | Totally recommended. Look at the results. Un-edited raw pictures. |

Before this I got a 9-stop variable ND filter. Returned it due to the X spot at the max level. I went for this and I couldn't be happier.
Overall, the product is well constructed. I really like the metal case to protect the filter. Metal ring. Good glass. I'm attaching 2 images. Without and with filter. Look at the lake!! No color distortion. It's just perfect.
If you are looking for a good ND filter for long exposure photography, this is a good place to start. This is a 10-stop non variable ND filter.
Now that being said, I think it is a little expensive to cover just one lens. I have 4, different filter sizes. One filter is around 40. I could get a filter system to cover all 4 for $100. I have 4 lenses. Do the math. |

★★★★★ | Gobe is the best |
Size: 82mm | Verified Purchase |
Gobe is super awesome!! The filters are great quality and they focus on environmental sustainability by planting trees for every purchase. I have always been questionable about ND filters and these were the first brand that I felt I could trust. This particular lens is like putting a pair of sunglasses on your lens. They do exactly what they're designed to do, reduce the amount of light passing through the lens and force a slower shutter speed. I use it a ton for motion photography and would recommend trying them out. Especially for a reasonable price and all this company stands for, these filters are legit. |
