★★★★★ | I see no reason to pay twice as much for the name brand! |

I recently purchased the Sigma 100-400mm DC DN for Sony E mount, and like everyone else, immediately discovered that I needed a tripod collar/foot to handle all that weight. While the typical price for something like that would be about $50, the Sigma TC-111 is inexplicably listed for $130! There aren't many generic options listed yet, but I found that this brand was well reviewed for other products, so I took a gamble that it would work well, since it was priced more reasonably.
I am thoroughly pleased! It feels quite sturdy, and was simple to install. While the pictures don't really show it, there is a bit of a silicon like layer on the inside that provides a bit of padding and grip, so you don't have to worry about metal on metal contact. If you just slightly release tension on the thumbscrew, you can rotate the lense from portrait to landscape within the tripod collar if desired, and then tighten it back up for tripod use. The foot itself can mount directly to an arca tripod mount, or it has screw holes for quick release plates. I've tested it a fair bit, and feel very comfortable that it was a good buy. |

★★★★★ | Perfect alternative for Sigma TS-111! Works with Sigma 100-400 DG DN OS Sony emount lens |

Ever since I bought the Sigma 100-400 DG DN OS telephoto zoom lens for Sony e-mount, I have been regretting the decision to not order a tripod mount with it. The lens was too heavy for handheld photography. TS-111 the official mount from Sigma costs approximately $130. The search for an alternative brought me here.
This mount was perfect for the lens. It is metallic and is sturdy enough to keep the heavily lens in place. |

★★★★★ | Just as good as Sigma’s |

I own both the Sony 100-400mm zoom and the Sigma version of this great focal length. Having done detailed comparison tests, the Sigma is also absolutely superb. I’m a well-known pro and if you are still considering which lens to buy, here’s my detailed review:

A few diss the Sigma because it doesn’t come with a tripod collar. However, at 40% the cost of the Sony I’m actually glad it doesn’t. As great as the Sony 100-400 is, the collar does not include an Arca-type quick release, a mistake on Sony’s part. Enter the Sigma TS-11A collar, ridiculously priced at $130. NOPE!
This Haoge LMR-SM140S is just as good and just five ounces. The Arca quick release plate is superior to Sony’s version, too. |

Absolutely essential for a lens of this size, especially when compared to the camera (Sony a6000) I'm using. As someone else said, when you get to this size lens it's really the camera that's the accessory ... All you need to do is remove the rubber ring on the lens, tighten down the ring, and you're good to go. It's also a great way to mount a sling to the lens/camera combo - again, to avoid stressing the lens/camera connection. |

Opened the box, read the installation instructions, and easily installed the Haoge Lens Collar. Prefect fit for my Sigma lens. Highly recommend this product. |

★★★★★ | Excellent Fit for Sigma 100-400 |

I ordered the Sigma 100-400mm DG DN OS lens and added this as an alternative to the very pricey Sigma lens collar at 1/3 the cost. No regrets at all. Well constructed, solid feel, and perfect fit. No instructions were included but easy enough to figure out. Comes with an Allen wrench to switch out the base. Only minor quibble is that the white alignment mark on the collar does not quite have the camera level if you align it with the alignment mark on the lens, but that's not a big deal to me. Highly recommend. |

This works very well, turning it is very smooth and catch free. This design is more difficult to put on than Sony's design but that is Sigma's issue, not Haoge's. Also, this is less than half the price of the one Sigma makes for their 100-400mm lens. Highly recommended! |

Some people said that you cannot spin the lens to a vertical position with these aftermarket colors. After figuring out how to align the nubs aligners and put the collar on it works perfectly and hold lens securely. And yes, I would recommend this collar. |

★★★★★ | It's cheaper than the sigma one, but still expensive. |

It works well. Saved me a bunch of money over the Sigma but it's still a lot of money for a chunk of metal. A rather nice piece of metal. |
