It's what I'd hoped it would be.

As I'm sure you all know, ordering a product from a picture on the computer is not always going to match what you THINK you're ordering in your head, when it shows up on your porch..
This item IS exactly what I thought I was ordering, can I get a halleluiah?
It's perfect for several small electronic cables (rear view mirror cam set-up) and the material retains it's 'springy-ness' to firmly contain the wires.
The material also is quite durable and of substantial thickness for this kind of looming.

Works great for my rat problem

I purchased this to place around wiring in my cars engine compartment. I had rats chew thru a transmission module wire. So far, this has worked great. I did place it around all exposed wires that I could see and get to. I am very happy so far

Works well, will buy again

Very easy to cut, melt, and work with. Plan for no sharp bends or extra tape. Very happy with this purchase. Bought 3 different sizes and am cleaning this dirty girl up!

Looks like old school wiring harness

Easy to use with the split in it. And it looks like an old school wiring harness. Doesn't look like the bulky split plastic corrugated crap the parts stores sell.

Quality product much better than original stock wire sleeving.

Quality product. Pair with high temperature tape for best outcome as sleeving will fray. Get multiple diameter sizes for best fit, however 3/8 will work on smaller wire bundles I’ve found.

Ease or use and easy to dress out

The ease of use, did not want to use tape around the wires, it would become stiff and hard to dress out, it worked so well that I ordered 1/4” and 3/4” to redo some other wire bundles. I’m using this in the front fairing on my 2003 Harley Road glide, Looks great too, looks very professional this will help me manage all the wires in the fairing and will be good if ever have to get at one of the wires

Question & Answer

Question :

Is 1/4" and 3/8" so close in actual size there is no discernable difference?

Answer :

There is a difference. The 1/4” measures 3/8” od with an overlap of 1/4”. The 3/8” measures1/2” od with an overlap of about 3/4.

Question :

What is the best way to measure the wires so I can determine the correct size needed to completely wrap around my wiring harness?

Answer :

For example, the 1/2" loom size will fit around a 1/2" diameter wire bundle. You'll get about 25% overlap of the material.

Question :

does this help stop rats and mice from eating your wires??

Answer :

Definitely makes it harder for rodents to eat through to the wires but its not a guaranteed solution. Given enough time rodents will likely eat through anything that isn't metal mesh.
