Great replacement cable!

So, get this. I bought this Behringer HA-400 Compact 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier and Accessory Bundle w/ 4X Stereo Headphones only to find that the included audio link cable was MONO. *groan* Since I don't prefer to listen to myself (or my fellow podcasters) out of ONE earphone, I bought this cable to rectify the issue. I was a perfect fix and I have been pleased. We can now all go deaf in both ears as opposed to one. Check out our podcast that utilizes this very cable by tuning into "A Night Out With Microphones" on Spotify, Soundcloud and iTunes! Yes, that is a shameless plug in my review. So what?! Don't judge. Thanks for reading.

Quality cable

I bought this cable to make a wall-mounted jack that I could plug into. This involved cutting the wire and soldering a female fitting to it. I write this because most people won’t ever be able to open up the cable to see how it’s made. This cable is copper, including the shield, and has another continuous shield running along with the mesh shield. I can also verify that the inner wires are copper and the insulation is quite thick, so they should be very durable.

9 years later, they have the Rockstar cables of my house

I recently got some higher end equipment that makes my old sound system sound crappy in comparison. I used these to go from the sound board output to the PA amp. I tried a regular 6' guitar cable and one of these with an A to B comparison, and the noise level on these 3' Monoprice cables is at least 30db less. I work around a lot of IT related equipment that is fairly noisy on the EMF side of things.

I'm sure lots of cables will do what I described due to shielding, but 9 years later, they don't crackle when I bend them around (moderately, and not super hard) and still look and feel like they might be newer than 9 years.

I hope their quality didn't drop with the pandemic, but if not, these rock!

A well made cable that’s inexpensive too!

I have a lot of cables, many from Monoprice, but I didn’t have any balanced TRS to TRS, and needed a couple for a new recording setup I’m trying. These fit the bill perfectly, nice quality gold plated connectors with black metal covers, and good shielded cable in a variety of lengths, what more do you need? I plugged them in and they work, no muss no fuss, clean quiet connections. If and when I need more of these I’ll buy them again.

A+

The quality on the Mono-price is impressive. I'll be using them professionally on stage so I'll see how well they hold up. Like the life-time guarantee and other reviews look good. I've replaced all of my cables with them instead of ordering Mogami which are like 3x the cost. I've used them at two festivals so far and I'm giving them an A+. Thanks!

GOOD Quality cables, works great with my synthesizer
Size: 10ft | Verified Purchase
I have a Deepmind 12 Synth that I needed TRS balanced cables. Specifically cables that were long enough to reach my audio interface. These cables are excellent for hooking up to a Synth or Keyboard, The gauge of the wire is good and thick, Gold connectors too, premium quality. As far as sound goes, it sounds very clean and full gain and line level. My Deepmind sounds so lush and warm, having these cables are exactly what I needed. Recommended for those looking for high quality balanced cables.

Sturdy and Purdy.

Every cable I've bought from Monoprice has been sturdy and long-lasting, and I don't expect this cable to be any different. Heavy-duty construction and solid-feeling jacks with good anti-kink reinforcement where jack meets sheathing. And even though it doesn't really matter, the black and gold colors look clean and professional. Heck... who am I kidding... looks do matter. This is rock and roll!
I bought this cable to run from an aux send on my mixer to my subwoofer which is often across the stage so I needed something that could take a bit of abuse if it accidentally gets trampled. So far this cable has held up great, and has good fidelity and no noticeable noise in the signal. A good product for a good price.

TV to small speakers hook up

I'm so happy I bought the cord! The reason was to silent my Mother's TV, since she is hard of hearing the volume was put very high and my ears hearing was starting to ring. I purchased a pair of Logitech speakers and this cable, I hooked the cable to the output on the TV and the speakers, wonderful, I don't have to hear the loud volume. Its so quiet now, if I need to buy this cord again I will. My Mother 81 yrs old now enjoys her speakers next to her head because she can control the volume. Problem solved.

Excellent quality

Let's hope they never change the design! These are fat, quality cables that perform great and use thicker gauge wires that most if not all competitors. Good solder joints, never had any issues with any monoprice cables. Look and feel great too. Best deal for the money, or even twice the money

Best Bang For The Buck

I own a number of Monoprice Premier Series Cables. They are thicker than you think they would be, and the gold-plated connectors conduct well and won't oxidize. I use them on gigs, I use them at home. Less expensive than some other brands but really great cables!

Custom Questions & answers

Question:Looking for a cable that goes from my head phone jack (MP3 player)to the Aux jack in my car. Is this it?
Answer:Hi Kathy,
No, this is not the cable you want for that use as it has 1/4" tips, and you need 1/8" (aka 3.5mm) ones. Try this one instead: . You might also want to consider a 3-foot cable; 6 feet might be a bit long for car usage.
Cheers,
Matt

Question:This cable is 1/4-inch (trs) male to male 16awg cable is that right? what is trs? doest that mean stereo phono?or are they two different things?
Answer:TRS is widely known as a 1/4 inch stereo plug this stereo plug is only a stereo plug when it carries two channels of unbalanced audio. otherwise when it is used as a single channel connector in a balanced system, it is called a balanced TRS connector or 1/4 inch balanced TRS. A common misconception is that fact that when used as a balanced connector to connect a mixer to another piece of pro-audio equipment, this plug is not a stereo plug, it is a single channel plug that is balanced.

Question:Will this fit in the jack of Beats Solo 2? I don't see dimensions for the jack diameter.
Answer:I don't think so but I don't have Beats headphones. Typically headphones use 1/8th inch size and sound reinforcement uses 1/4 inch. This cable is 1/4inch... Hope that helps. Try searching for 1/8 inch cables and sometimes male to male or male to female etc. helps to return the results you are needing.

Question:Will this work with Behringer HA400 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier? Trying to connect my mixer to output to my headphone amplifier.
Answer:As this is a balanced cable, yes it should connect a mixer and the HA500, but you need two cables - one for left and one for right signals.

Question:Is it for guitars?
Answer:No, for an instrument cable you want a "tip/sleeve" shielded cable. Just search "musical instrument cable" and you'll find them! Monoprice cables are very good for the money, btw!

Question:Does this cord work well with wireless microphone base(s)?
Answer:Thank you for your question. As long as the connection is a 1/4 inch connection, then yes this cable should help.

Question:Is this good to send an Unpowered mono out signal from a mixing board, to a powered sub woofer?
Answer:Yes the cable should handle it just fine

Question:Can I cut this cable to the length needed and put a replacement plug on the bare end? If so, can you suggest a replacement plug?
Answer:You could if you really wanted to all it is is 2 wires ...I would just buy these plugs .
And then buy a cable like this

This is what I ended up doing for my church buying those and soldering it up and works perfectly fine

Question:This cable is a speaker cable ? I had 2 speakers, 1500 watts for each. Are they compatible with my speakers?
Answer:Some of the best cables I have ever purchased. I use them for two 1600 watt speakers with a 3000 watt amp.
