★★★★★ | Will work with Olympus OM D E MI MarkII |

After trying other shutter releases that claimed to work with the MI MarkII the Progo release really does work with the camera. The others that claimed to work were similar to the Progo but had incorrect plugs not compatible with the MI MarkII. The Progo is well made, has a long cord and as with all Progo products I have used in the past, do as the description promised. I don't use this with autofocus so I can't rate how it worked with that facility. I works beautifully with with single exposure. At the price you won't find a better basic cable release for the Oly OM D E MI MarkII. |

★★★★★ | Such savings over the OEM Canon remote shutter |

Whenever I do macrophotography, I must be extremely careful about clicking the shutter so that I do not move the camera. This remote shutter is just what I needed. Plus, it has a dual pressure switch (halfway down to focus, all the way down to click the shutter) and a locking slide incorporated in the same button for when I want to take multiple shots in a row, which may also be handy when setting up time lapse photos of the night sky and am using Magic Lantern to control those shots. I haven't tried this yet, so I am only guessing on this application of the locking slider button. I would recommend this remote shutter to anyone. The build is very solid -- both the control head, the cable and the plug portion. I am very careful with my gear, but I can see this lasting a long time, even if I were not as careful. |

★★★★★ | Plug and play, simple to use |

I bought this for an old Canon Rebel, and love it. It's an absolute must for taking long-exposure shots, or for store listing or other commercial shots that need to be in crystal clear focus. The switch has a decently long cable (about three feet), and has only one button. Press the button for a single exposure, or hold it down to take a burst.
This will not plug into a phone, as the jack is smaller than the 3.5mm headphone jack. But as it is wired, there's no need for batteries or replacement parts. Plug it into the appropriate port on your camera, and it's instantly ready to use. |

★★★★★ | Cheap and easy to use, great improvements! |

This is essential for taking pictures at night time where you need long exposures. I captured some awesome firework pictures using the "bulb" mode on my camera. I was previously using a more expensive wireless remote, but if often did not respond fast enough or required many presses to work. This wired remote works 100% of the time and is very easy to use. |

★★★★★ | I was looking for an alternative and found this one That had good reviews and the price was fenomenal |

Man o man. This wired remote shutter really saved me a lot of time when taking real estate shots. I was setting my camera in the tripod and taking photos with a 2 second delay to minimize shaking. The time and the beeping was on my nerves. I was looking for an alternative and found this one That had good reviews and the price was fenomenal. So easy to use, just plug and play. Shutter button is same as using the camera shutter button. Half to focus and full to shoot. It is Same time. I love the cable because there is no need of battery. The cord is long enough for me since I stand right next to the camera. I lost my first one and I bought a second one right away. Recommended. |

★★★★★ | Does what it is supposed to. |

Works well does what its supposed to do. I use it with my t2is, I know I am decades out of date but they do everything I need. The cord is short so if you want to do remote shooting look elsewhere, I think that would be better than an extension. |

★★★★★ | Great quality remote shutter |

So this, for the money, was such a great addition to my photography. I don't like using my phone as a shutter, so for long exposures and early morning shots where shake isn't an option this was fantastic. It even fell in the ocean once and still works! |

I lost my old remote which was made by Canon for my Rebel. This replacement works perfectly. The Website had a chart that listed different remotes for different "plug ins". I would recommend to anyone. |

I bought this to primarily do Astrophotography, so this to me is a must while taking Astrophotography much less any type of still photography such as portraits!
