★★★★★ lowest profile NATO rail in the industry! Verified Purchase LOVE this thing! NATO rails are one of the most flexible (and affordable) mounting options in the business. And this one from SmallRig has BY FAR the lowest profile option available! I have a Zacuto cage for my A7lll and needed to mount an ikan universal monitor arm to it for my monitor. While there are 1/4 20" points all over the cage, i needed something more "quick-release" to get me in and out of the case for run and gun work. I looked all over and nobody comes close to this compact and low profile piece from SmallRig! The included screws fit perfectly into my cage. I was up and running in minutes! I also bought a second rail and clamp for the other end for the monitor (secured with some sanding discs to compensate for the single screw hole on the monitor) My only question is about the safety pins at the end of the rail. They made sense to me initially, in theory. But in use, they don't add any value and just make setup and breakdown harder. I'm not really sure what purpose they serve. Other then breaking, there really aren't a lot of ways a NATO piece can fail. And if that were to occur, sliding off the ends would be the least of you problems... This isn't an issue for me, as the pins are easily removed by unscrewing the flat head pin that holds them in (see photos) So far, I LOVE these. On the very front, measure the 2 holes on either side of the main one. Make sure they are close enough to cover the distance inside this nato rail. If they are too far apart, you should still be able to use the 2 holes that are side by side, directly behind the main ones. These nato rails have a lot of flexibility in their mounting location.   Question: can i use this on tilta's bmpcc6k cage? Answer: Yes, it can be attached to the side of the cage.   Question: Is this required to use with the smallrig top handle htn2439?
