Good Value. Good product.

A $20 HumanCentric of a $59 Sonos, which mount to choose? Let's see they both are an inexpensive piece of sturdy black metal with four single holes (HumanCentric) or long horizontal hole slots (Sonos) along the back for wall mounting, and two single holes (Sonos) or long horizontal hole slots (HumanCentric) along the bottom to screw in the soundbar (Sonos Beam). And one (Sonos) is about three times the cost as the other (HumanCentric).

Gee, which one???

Obviously I prefer HumanCentric. It's sturdy, more than enough needed for a device weighing a half dozen pounds. And while it might be nice to have the long slots rather than the single hole along the wall mount like the Sonos, it is far far more functional to have those long slots at the point the device mounts to, as it is much easier (with the HumanCentric mount) to loosen the screws and slide the soundbar to correct a minor centering problem (the mount is noticeably shorter than the length of the beam, which means the mount goes unseen when soundbar attached) than to remove the soundbar and loosen to slide the mount along the wall (which you would do with the Sonos mount).

Basically, (and I'm not saying the Sonos product is just as good, but) the value is with the HumanCentric product.

Sturdy, complete mounting hardware at fraction of box store price.

Great choice to mount my Sonos Beam. I found it outrageous that places such as Best Buy charge $60 for this.

You get everything you need to mount the speaker in drywall as well as screws for the speaker, pre dipped with loc-tite. There is a nice but not too much space behind the speaker when mounted to plug in your cables which keeps the speaker close to the wall. Still recommend you plug everything in first before screwing it down.

The metal shelf is sturdy. I found though my speaker would rattle due to vibration into my wall so I used some pillow foam I had lying around to act as a gasket between the speaker and the mount and it is perfect.

Maybe it is just my wall. Not the mounts fault just giving a tip if you run into this.

Fantastic mount that does as described !

I’m not handy at all but this thing was super simple to install, it looks good, well constructed, and saved me twenty bucks. I had it up and going in less then 10 minutes. Just used a leveler, mounted the Mount to the wall, put the speaker on, move it till it’s centered, and tightened down. I have no concern that my beam is going to end up on the floor as I put some weight on the bar to confirm stability. In my situation, my studs were too far apart so I used one stub and one dry wall anchor. Do yourself a solid and buy this mount I.e save the 20 more dollars the “official” one is going to charge you. Truth be told they probably outsource it to someone and out their stamp on it.

P.s ignore the wire mess, that’s my next thing to tackle now the bar is mounted.

It works just fine

I purchased a Sonos sound bar for the spouse only to find out that I needed a bracket to hold it. I had checked Sonos' site and decided that I could do better on Amazon. I found this sound bar bracket which came highly recommended by Amazon reviewers. It was easy to put up and the only thing I added was a zip tie to keep it on the bracket since I had to assume the cats would become curious and accidentally knock the sound bar off its perch. Totally recommended especially if you purchased the Sonos Sound Bar during Prime Days like I did.

Quality, easy to install bracket that does the job.

This very simple bracket made quick and easy work of wall mounting my new Sonos Beam under my wall mounted TV. The elongated mount points for the bar itself are useful for centering the sound bar after installation of the bracket if necessary. Once installed, the bracket is mostly out of sight, busy holding your solid investment of a sound bar. I'll be buying this bracket again if I set up another TV with the Sonos Beam sound bar.

Perfect Fit

I actually bought this to put my Sonos Beam onto my Mantel Mount. Since the Beam only has screws on the bottom I needed this to mount to the sound bar mount. It worked perfectly. I just switched out the screws to machine screws and washers and bolts.

Buy this and save yourself some money

Does exactly what the more expensive Sonos aimed version does at half the price. Looks good and provides a bit of wiggle room in case your measuring is slightly off. My only problem is that I feel it does sit a bit too far off the wall. Being a taller person, I am able to see the hole in the wall from my angle. Not really worth losing a star over, but I guess it could sit a bit closer to the wall once the Beam is installed.

Worked like a champ!

Easy to install. I've actually got it mounted through shiplap through drywall and still quite sturdy, perfect way to hide the wires while mounted. Quality product, not flimsy, feel good about it being secure and not falling down. Would recommend.

As good as the name brand

Works great with my Sonos Beam. Great quality and practically invisible when installed. Glad I didn’t pay more for the name brand.

Great mount for the Beam

I rarely write reviews for products but this is a great mount for the Sonos Beam at half the cost. It’s solid, invisible, and does what it needs to. Thumbs up!

Question :

Can i use this bracket to mount my sonos beam to the ceiling? I have a niche in my ceiling that would house the speaker really well, hence the questio

Answer :

The mount is only designed to mount the Sonos Beam to the wall - You should not use it to mount a Sonos Beam to the ceiling.

Question :

Does it’s works for Sonos Beam Gen 2 ?

Answer :

Yes, this wall mount works with the Sonos Beam Gen 2 and Gen 1.

Question :

will this work with 24" studs?

Answer :

Considering it’s about 16” long...I don’t see how it would possibly reach 24”.
Your best soloution would be to get a 1x4 26”...I suggest get a nice smooth sanded one to save time and effort/tools. Then attach that to your wall to reach the studs. Paint it to match the wall. Then attach the speaker to that. This is how I mounted both my TV’s on the wall.

Question :

How far apart are the wall-mounting holes? Will they work with 16” studs?

Answer :

The outer 2 holes on the speaker mount bracket are very close to being 16 inches apart. If need be, the mounting screws could always be angled in slightly to hit the studs perfectly.

Question :

Can this mount be used to secure the Sonos Beam to a flat surface as opposed to a wall?

Answer :

I don't know how that could be done cleanly, unless you turn it upside-down, and secure the rear lip onto the edge /corner of the flat surface. And you would need to raise it off the surface a bit to allow space for the bolts attaching the mount to the Beam. Good luck!

Question :

Anyone else get a loud vibrating sound when there's any bass?

Answer :

I have a sonos playbar on mine and there is no vibrating sound.

Question :

How wide is the opening in the back? I need to mount this over as outlet and need to know if it is wide enough.

Answer :

Dont know the exact measurements but it's with enough to cover the outlet....I hope this help

Question :

Does it include the screws to mount the Sonos beam it self not only the screws for the wall

Answer :

Yes, this includes the two installation screws needed to mount the Sonos beam to the mount itself as well!

Question :

Cuantas pulgadas tiene este bracket?

Answer :

En ingles?
