| I spend all my free time visiting retail stores looking for bargains in the back aisles. | I am in love with this item. This item is a must have whether you decide to keep it in the car or use it at home. Although I was aware of the germ tracking studies on high-touch surfaces, the pandemic finally pushed me to address how to disinfect my phone and other EDC items without damaging them with alcohol-based cleaners.
This Utilimedic sanitizer was the most versatile option I found. It has plenty of UV-C LEDS all through the sanitizing chamber, and the adjustable phone-holder-feet ensure that all sides of the phone have UV-C light access, while keeping it from rattling around while driving. I generally try avoid single function electronics so the Qi wireless charging was a decider for me. When I’m not using the sanitizer to sanitize my phone, credit cards, or fountain pens it doubles as a charging pad – which has been super useful.
Overall I have been quite satisfied with this little device and would definitely recommend it! Recommendation: if using it in a hot climate (like here in Florida) position it, and your phone, out of the direct sun. Mine now lives on the center console between the front seats – problem solved. |
