We ordered this teleprompter for our studio. At Weho Studios we produce a lot of commercials, so a lot of the time the talent needs to be looking directly into the camera. Using a simple iPad and this prompter we have been able to achieve a very affordable and reliable system. Super easy set up! My only wish is that the camera battery was easier to change out. Once the camera is mounted the battery compartment is blocked.

Excellent value for money
I love this teleprompter for its simplicity and price. You may need a small riser block your camera if you use larger lenses. I'm considering putting a quick release on the top of it so I can just attach using the Arca Swiss plates on my cameras.
In use I found that you need to tilt the mirror slightly higher than the detent allow; however it's easy to set up and stays in place. My client had no problem reading from my iPad Pro. You do need to sinch the shroud around the lens to avoid light leaks but that's really easy to do.
My only regret (no fault of the product) is that I cannot use it with the battery grip attached to my Sony A7Riii. It would probably also not work with a grip body like a Nikon D5 or a Canon 1Dx.
The carry case is basic and functional but would probably not withstand a lot of abuse - so switch to a Pelican case if you intend to move this around a lot.
Overall this is an excellent product and when you consider that it costs less than the Pelican case you should really use to transport it it is exceptionally good value for money!

Finally a decent teleprompter under $100
I've been debating on getting a teleprompter for a while. I even made one from printing out parts on thingiverse. Only because they are so expensive. If you are wondering why, it is because of the beam splitter glass. Normal glass will work but it has ghosting. This type of glass costs a bit more. In any case, this is very sturdy, easy to use, and easily worth the ~$60 in time saved by trying to build one.
Only issue was that my camera was too low to use the base, I had to add a Tripod Ball Head to offset the camera. Picture shows what I'm talking about.
