The Aputure MC is a Wonderful little light. From the thoughtful design of the slip-on diffusion pillow to the instant RGB tunability, there are many things to appreciate. The app is pretty straight forward and makes working with multiple MC's easy. These are great to add some color / texture / movement in small spaces. I wish the internal battery life were longer and I would highly recommend picking up a long USB A to C cable (10' ?) for each one of these if you plan on using these in setups running longer than an hour. Adding a high amperage USB power strip is probably a good for more than one MC. If you become more invested in the system there are multi-light kits an wireless charging options. I played with a friend's MC and in about 5 minutes was ordering 2 more of these for my kit... and subsequently have 2 more, now. RECOMMEND!

The build quality of this product is not all that impressive. You're definitely paying for the brand name a bit with this one. However, the literal light that it provides is nice, and the app that you can use to control the light is definitely very well done. I really like the feature where you can take a photo in the app of a colour you're working with, and then have the light recreate that exact colour. I also like that it comes with a diffuser shell.
