I bought this for my brother. He loves it but screen cracked by itself. I had a difficult time getting ahold of manufacture because Amazon employees kept telling me I could not. Then finally an Amazon employee gave me instruction how to contact.

02/20/2019 So I have used this body camera on numerous occasions and it has performed perfect every time. I sent a few messages to seller:BOBLOV2016 asking questions about how to make just one video file when I, say for instance, record video/audio for one hour. They said this cam/dvr can't do that. But that I could lengthen the record video file to maximum of 15mins. Recording for a continuous 60mins would generate 4 15min files. There are free software on the internet that can tie all of these files together as 1-60min file and playback as one file. So other than that minor flaw, I am satisfied. I've used it on my vacations to Padre Island fishing pier BobHall. I just clip it to my shirt pocket and it records everything great. Hi definition lets you see facial recognition. I would buy again!!

I can't say one way or another because I don't have this particular body cam. But I have one like it and the data is secured up until it's recorded over. I put my data on a cloud which is sure to be saved and can also be transferable to other electronic devices. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Legally you can not record others in most US states without them being aware they are being recorded hence the light. Public places you can record but release of their face outside a court without permission isn't permitted, like recording in public and youtubing it and it results in loss or harm without them beign aware your were recording. You can black it out, but don't block the IR lights for nightvision.

Answer :
Plug your camera to your PC. Once there you enter your passcode and your pics/vids should pop up on your screen. You can view, delete or save them from there. Unfortunately thats the only way to erase files.

You take the camera and plug it into the computer using the charger wire. It’s the usb cord also. It plugs into the side of the camera and then you plug it into your computer and open the folders and you’ll see all the files in the first folder i think. U then can highlight them all and either drag to your desk top or save them
To a folder or where ever you want on your computer. I hope this helps :)

It rotated and on a side note the video and audio quality are very good on this camera. It has worked very well. I do fugitive recovery and it has exceeded my expectation.
