Greatly improves bare-flash light quality
I publish the Strobist website, and I have become a big fan of the Godox AD200. But for all of its good point, the built-in fresnel reflector that ships with the flash (AKA, the "bare head") is an absolute pile of poop. Seriously, it is the worst dispersion pattern I have ever seen. It looks like a CGI lens flare from a Michael Bay movie. And not in a good way.
Fortunately, you can fix this with a $7.99 parabolic/pebbled reflector. The quality of the light pattern is drastically improved. (See attached comparison photo.) Frankly, it makes the flash usable without an umbrella or soft box where previously it wasn't.
The addition of a snap-on diffuser is great, too. Please note: it DOES NOT make the light softer. That is a function of light size and distance. But it does widen the dispersion pattern of the light beam, which can be very useful.

Worth every penny
As a Real Estate photographer of fine homes, I need quality but getting things done quickly not only is in my interest, the home owners appreciate it too. This diffuser mitigates the harsh edges caused by the poor onboard diffuser on the AD 200.

The Basic Strobe Reflector!
This fits many of the Godox Strobes. (the compatibility in the Godox line is excellent!) I use it on the AD360 II Pack, with a cord, you can hold or position it wherever you need it. The quality and shape of the light is excellent. Use it for Portraits, or Photojournalism, it's just a matter of positioning. Something about the Godox line that is different; They're not out to make you broke, buying every different accessory, they include what you need, and most pieces work with several of their different products. Godox Lighting Gear is an excellent investment for your Photography Kit!

Good kit, perfect for each of your lights
Similar to the kit that includes gels and a grid but this is just the reflector and a diffuser. 99% of the time it's going to be all you need, especially if you're shooting on location and need a simple, sturdy modifier. The reflector is well made and provides an even, directional light. The diffuser softens the light and reduces output about 1/2 a stop, maybe less. I find that I leave the diffuser on almost all the time. It does a lot to make the light much less contrasty.

For creative use !
Helps push more light out, and in a focused area. Nice, small and light (weight wise); cheap too. Diffuser comes in handy (though it’s not a softbox) lol.

Must have for AD200
Its not a modifier I will use all the time, but for when you need the most light possible out of your AD200, its what I go for

Question & Answer
Question :
I purchased this along with my ad200 but can't figure out how to attach it. is there a special bracket i need to buy?
Answer :
This reflector is intended to be used with the bare bulb head of your AD200 only. Place the barebulb head on your flash and unscrew the round button on one side. Place the reflector in the socket all the way to the bottom. Carefully turn the reflector clockwise until you find the notch tha locks it on the heas. Once you have it lock tighten carefully the round button on the side of the head. Thats it!
Question :
Can i use this reflector with my sk 400 ii
Answer :
No it won't fit. You need one that fits a standard Bowens mount.
Question :
Can this be used for a background light in lieu of a 7" reflector or is it too narrow?
Answer :
I think so. Add diffusion and pull it away from the BG a bit, to suit your needs.
Question :
Has anyone used the ad-s2 inside a softbox or with an umbrella to increase the output of the ad200?
Answer :
Yes. But best results are achieved when used with umbrellas or softboxes larger than 30" and the flash facing toward the back of your modifier, half way or further the holding rod.
Question :
Is the diffuser effective?
Answer :
Well, it spreads the light in a circular pattern, while softening it by not too much (size matters). I can say that it is effective but not the same as a softbox or unbrella.... better than the rectangular reflector that comes with the unit, at the expense of 1 1/2 stop of power.
Question :
How wide is the reflector. Diameter of outside reflector, not the mounting end?
Answer :
Measures 5 inches across
Question :
does this mount to Apurture 200D?
Answer :
yes
Question :
Can you please tell me the diameter of the metal adapter on this reflector?
Answer :
Hi, the diameter is 3,5cm
