SO worth the price!

I originally wasnt going to buy this because my Godox strobe already has a receiver built within it. But, when I needed to control the brightness of my Canon 580ex ii Speedlight as a secondary, primary, or only source, this receiver made it possible. I was a to remotely change flash output on it's own group so I didn't alter the light output of the strobe. It didn't require any set up. It worked how I needed it to as soon as I turned it on.

Highly recommended.

Works flawlessly, through walls and around corners. Well-built and light enough to stand at the top of a trip without toppling it. A workhorse for both studio and field assignments. Highly recommended.

Question & Answer

Question :

Would this work with the godox xt1 Sony version?

Answer :

All of the Godox system has the same RF frequency. But you won't have TTL communication. It will only trigger so you will have to operate your lighting in manual mode.

Question :

What is the right godox x1r- c for eos t6i?

Answer :

The "C" indicates that it works on Canon cameras .

Question :

Should i be able to fire my canon 580 ex ii with this receiver and xpro-f on my fuji x-t2?

Answer :

This is what i'm trying to answer as well

Question :

Does this work as a reciever to the xpro-c ttl wireless flash trigger?

Answer :

Yes.

Question :

Will it work with a Nissin di 622? I would like to trigger it wireless.

Answer :

It should work with Canon compatible model.

Question :

Will the receiver work with Godox X1pro transmitter and a canon 550ex attached to this receiver?

Answer :

Yes, it works

Question :

Will this work with canon 430 or canon 580 with wireless ttl functions?

Answer :

Depends on the version of those flash units if they are the original versions then no. They would have to be version II or higher also you will need a canon camera designed after 2012 to be fully compatible. Canon changed something in the cameras after 2012 to make them compatible with their radio controlled flashes like the EX600-RT. They will control the older flashes and work on the older cameras in manual mode but you will not be able to use high speed sync. They are a great trigger for the money even if you have to use them in manual mode. You will be able to adjust the power of your flashes from your on camera unit in manual mode.

Question :

Will this work with bowens monolights (esprit)? - along with the godox x1t-c transmitter of course...

Answer :

Only as a trigger, you won't be able to change the power settings .

Question :

I have the Godox 400 pro and transmitter, will this work with my Yungno 600ex?

Answer :

Yes it will! I have a Yungnuo 600ex and a canon 420ex and both work great with this receiver. I’m able to control power in ttl or manual and HSS.

Question :

Can you adjust the power of a canon speedlite remotely by using this (x1r) and the xpro transmitter?

Answer :

Yes, I have a Canon 430EX II that I fully control from my xpro transmitter. It works great!
