Feature my Art Professionally
This portfolio allows me to BRAGG about my Art Work in a subdued but subtle way. And it protects my art under any condition or weather (when showing my portfolio) in a leisurely fashion….without showing-off (apparent). The (buying) larger size allows me to do some creative things for "framing-of-the-artwork" for viewing (within the portfolio)...LRoyal

Exactly what I was looking for.
It was deliverered 2 days after ordering it. It has a hard plastic cover, and comes with slots for you to put whatever type of art inside. Comes with 24 pages, but if you do back and front it's 48. Very nice. 10/10 would buy again

Perfect for larger documents
I had some birth and marriage certificates from the late 1800's and early 1900's that I wanted to preserve without a frame to save space. This folder is perfect! So far, I am very impressed with the easiness in using it and am especially glad that the pages are acid free.

Perfect size for Oban size Japanese wood block prints.
Replaced larger Itoya Art Portfolio with this smaller size. Prefect size for the Oban size prints. Store print on left side, information about print on right page.
Archive quality material.

Higher quality than the regular Itoya books ... at a great price
If you don't need the highest quality, soft cover binder of the Itoya Professional Presentation Book, then this is the binder with the greatest value for the money.
Nice "edge border" that looks more professional than the regular Itoya plastic covers. And this binder has the same cleaner, Polyglass sleeves as the Professional series binder.
Highly recommend as professional quality at the greatest value.

Good to display kid's artwork
Good buy. I was looking for something to keep my children's work for two years now. I am glad I found this. It is like an album for artwork. I can still show their work to family and friends since I cannot hang all their artwork on our walI. I will definitely buy it again if I need one.

Question & Answer
Question :
Will it stand on it's side or does it have to store flat?
Answer :
To better protect your photos I would store flat.
Question :
What are the differences between the Evolution and the Itoya with the silver spine? I will be moving prints in and out of them constantly.
Answer :
I have the Evolution without silver spine and it is fine. I change prints often myself
Question :
Will the sleeves hold artwork that is 16 by 11? I am looking at the 13 by 19 book.
Answer :
They should. 11x13 is smaller than 13x19. I put large photos in mine and they are perfect but I'm not sure if I'd want to put collages, heavy watercolor paper or thicker media, although you could take out the black paper insert and have more space for thicker art and not put your work back to back. (My photos slide in back to back with the paper insert comfortably). Hope this helps. It's a nice book and makes a nice presentation.
Question :
Are the sleeves strong enough to hold a 13x19 "Fillmore" poster? If so, would you be able to put 2 back to back without tearing the sleeve/page?
Answer :
If I was you I would look for another portfolio. Big pieces in this one don’t really work unless they are about a half of inch smaller. With you having a poster the same size as the page I would believe it will tear. You’re going to need one that’s going to be slightly bigger than the artwork your putting in.
Question :
Does any sleeves come with this product ?
Answer :
Yes, there are 24 clear plastic sleeves. This allows you to put two portfolio pieces in each to view forty eight in all.
Question :
Would a 12"x12" wall calendar fit into the sleeves of this album?
Answer :
It will fit and it will also have extra space to spare inside the sleeve. Perhaps you can center the 12 x 12 calender in your 13 x 19 sleeve by using acid-free non-permanent adhesives. This way it looks more professional giving it the appearance of a frame or border.
Question :
PVC and lignin free?
Answer :
The portfolio is PVC free. There is no information about containing lignin. You may have to check with the manufacturer.
Question :
Do the pages inside the plastic sleeves slide out so that I could attach photos directly to them?”
Answer :
The pages are plastic, attached to the portfolio and cannot be removed. The black paper inside the pages can be removed. Not sure why you would want to attach the photo to either the black paper insert or the plastic page though.
Question :
Will the sleeves accomodate the "thickness" of a calendar? Thanks for previous answers.
Answer :
Sorry for the delayed response. Depending on the size & thickness of the calendar the Itoya should be able to accommodate it. I would just buy the next largest size (example: if the calendar is 9x12 buy 11x14).
