The least expensive, most useful sensor cleaning product I own, And it's REUSABLE!
I wasn't crazy about trying this product on my D800E sensor, graphite and rubbing my sensor just rubbed me the wrong way. But the good reviews and the price drove me to try it. I literally have spent hundreds of dollars on sensor cleaning supplies and can't believe that the least expensive turned out to be the most useful.
I've noticed with my D800E that residue left behind by sensor cleaning liquids is clearly visible using Lightroom's Visualize Spots feature, most noticeable with the slider setting at max. They're popular liquids too - Eclipse and Smear Away. It took me about 10 wet swabs at $3 each before I realized I was no longer cleaning oily dirt on the sensor, but residue left behind from the previous swab. I never noticed that on my D100 and D700, but I wasn't using Lightroom at that time either.
I apprehensively tested the Sensorklear pen on 1 corner at first. Looked for graphite dust but found none. Then 2 edges, then the other 2, then the rest of the sensor. WOW! I could have cleaned with only 1 swab and used this pen to remove all of the residue. It removes it with a single swipe too, easy peasy. Won't need to buy corner swabs either, this pen is perfect for that. And it's REUSABLE:-)
Since my purchase it's been inside my camera about 40 times. Each time it worked as good as the first and left no residue.
My only gripe is I find it awkward getting the cleaning tip to lay flush (parallel) with the sensor, so that I'll be cleaning with the entire triangle tip and not favoring just one side of it. This could be mostly due to the camera's cramped sensor chamber, but the articulated tip does help a lot in that regard.
Great product, great price. And the fact that it's reusable is icing on the cake.

Excellent: does the job right; is inexpensive, effective and quick.
This product works very well. My D800 sensor looked like it had measles on it. There were many dust particles and some crud from a previous cleaning that did not remove everything.
First, one needs to blow out the dust from the chamber using a Giottos or similar blower. Next, put the sensor up, apply the Lenspen and swab the sensor surface; then, take a reference photo at F16 or F22 so any remaining particles will be visible on the sensor. Go back, examine the photograph and, if necessary, blow the chamber out and the sensor off; finally, clean the sensor with the Lenspen again and then blow the chamber again. You must not fear that the pen/brush will harm the sensor. Repeat until the sensor is whistle clean. It may take you 3-4 times if your sensor is very cruddy.
One must simply not press too hard on the pen/brush. It is very responsive and you can easily tell when you have "landed" on the sensor so pressing too hard is almost not possible. You must not think that you must be a Rembrandt to clean your sensor. Lenspen makes it easy.
I was afraid that I would not be able to clean the sensor but it is shiny clean now and I could easily imagine using this after a photo-shoot in a hotel room along with the blower. After you do it a few times, you realize that the sensor cleaning fear you had was unrealistic. This device makes it easy to do the job right and quickly. You will also want to set the sensor clean on your camera automatically to clean the sensor at start-up and shut-down.
Did I mention that at $10 you will not go broke on exotic twirly-whirly brushes and "secret potions" from Canada. You know who you are {Ahem: Fluttering around up in The Arctic...}.
Photographers can actually afford to do the job right, quickly and easily! Good job, Lenspen!

I Don't Like To Touch My Sensor, But This Is Handy To Have
Ideally, you don't want to be fiddling around with your sensor, but sometimes stuff happens and you end up with sensor spots. Sure, you could clone them out in post, but who wants to waste all that time? And what if you're unlucky and the spot is right on top of a critical element of your photo?
That's exactly why I carry one of these things in my camera bag at all times. It does a really good job of getting spots off your sensor and it's a lot simpler than some of those other systems that use some sort of stick with either cleaning fluid or wipes. Be sure to use a blower first to dislodge any troublesome particles.

Works great as part of kit but not alone.
I've been having problems with my sensor getting dirty and the self clean not getting any of it. I tried my rocket blower with no results. I bought several kits that claimed to clean your sensor and they were all useless. It finally came down to a simple sensor brush that cleaned 99% of the dust specks on my sensor. I was down to one dust speck that just wouldn't go away. I was going to resort to a wet clean when this pen arrived. With the use of a dust lens I was able to locate the exact spot on the sensor where the dust speck was located and the pen let me dislodge it. I couldn't remove it with the pen but now the sensor brush was able to get rid of the dust speck. Now my sensor is 100% clean and like new. So if you use it as part of a kit it should work great. A rocket blower, a sensor brush, a dust lens and the pen should be all you need.

Works Great
After trying several other sensor cleaning methods and not getting all the spots off the Lenspen got the sensor spotless. Handy to keep in my camera bag if any dust gets on in the field.

Cleans your Sensor quickly
I purchased this SensorKlear in the hopes that it will be able to remove a fingerprint smudge on the CCD sensor. I had considered other options in removing the smudge (wet method) but I opted for the SensorKlear based on review of other users.
If you follow instructions there shouldn't be any problems like what other reviewers have mentions (more black dust particles left on CCD or scratches on CCD)
It took me 3 passes on the CCD for it to be clear of dust and fingerprint smudges. I highly recommend this product, easy to use and not an expensive cleaning method. Just remember to follow instructions and all should go well.
*note* used to clean a Pentax K100D Sensor

A trusted tool for DSLR sensor cleaning
I am an amateur photographer, owned Nikon D200, Nikon D7000 and now a Nikon D600. Consider all the compliant about sensor dust on Nikon D600, I had never doubted my trusted Nikon D600. Not only it gave me the image which was always as good as what I dreamed for, but I am sure if the dust or smear really appear (not until now), I have to tool to deal with it. I have do my own sensor cleaning with the lenspen sensor scope and the lenspen LENSK1A more than a dozen of time. I own and tried other cleaning tools, including sensor swabs, wet cleaning, brush off sensor cleaning brush, visible dust artic butterfly, and so on, but finally, it is the lenspen LENSK1A which do the finishing touch. The sensor is spotlessly clean.

Perfect
Perfectly does what it should do. Lightweight, pocketable. I love the articuled design. You can actually operate it while looking through a sensor loupe! Residue (if any) is so fine, that I didn't even need to resort to swap and liquid cleaning of the sensor.

Great sensor cleaning method
This device is my preferred method for sensor cleaning. The sensor in my 5D MKII always seems to collect all manner of gunk making for long dust spot removal sessions in photoshop. I have used wet swabs and blowers etc but using this pen with its dry scratch free tip is the best. It removes most nasty stuff without effort and gets into the corners where I always have the most problems. Used with a good blower before and after is usually enough to get my sensor clean.

It works!
I used this Lenspen with the Lenspen eyeloop, to clean my sensor. I was taught by another photographer how to do this. There is a great deal of paranoia around the cleaning of a sensor. As long as one uses common sense and is gentle, there is little to be worried about. I always use a blower first, to remove any loose debris, then I remove particle by slightly nudging them. I don't just aggressively wipe on the sensor.
Question & Answer
Question :
Does this use the same carbon as the lenspens?
Answer :
Yes it does.
Question :
Can the lens pen be cleaned?
Answer :
The lens pen is cleaned by using the cap. Turn the lens pen a few times with the cap on, this replenish the carbon which is the active agent for lens cleaning, and the turning also cleans the lens pen. Sometimes, I also use a lens tissue to clean it. Just do not be alarmed by the carbon, it do not harm the lens or the sensor. I had tried artic butterfly, wet cleaning, and other method, but the lens pen is most effective. Now I am using it for my Nikon D600 not even thinking about changing to D610, even for free. I am always careful not to exert pressure on the sensor, just pulling the lens pen arround the sensor to clean it.
