The items came with scratches all over the surface, especially the black one. No reflection.
I almost returned it, but I double checked again the review and Q&A (I did check before I ordered, but at that time I thought there are a lot more positive reviews than negative ones). In the Q&A, somebody mentioned about the protective layer that is easy to peel off. Then I realized that mine also came with the protective layers.
So I peeled off the protective layer, and yes,, the surface is so smooth, no scratch at all. So shiny, and can see the reflection. I'm lucky not immediately contacted the seller and returned the product.

Great buy, but linty
This review is only for the black & white acrylic table top pieces, as I bought them separate from any other kit. The size I purchased are about 9.5x.9.5 inches and about 1.5 inches in height. If you keep the box and store them, they would fit in a standard backpack and could work for things "on the go" or outdoors - which I will try soon. (currently raining) They came out of the box with protective sealant that was easy to peel off. I'm attaching untouched but cropped photos to show the reflection capabilities from the same thing - my (broken) watch - in less than stellar lighting. (due to my bulb busting, I went with a flash) In fact it is so reflective, if you don't watch out - you and/or your camera flash will wind up reflecting in it, as well. lol
I'd recommend them if you're doing product shots for e-bay, or blogging, etc. It should work well with standard point and shoot cameras, imo. They feel sturdy enough - I put my camera lens on it (50mm lens) and my 200mm lens -and also a small piece of real marble - which is almost a pound, but I wouldn't add anything too heavy on them. Jewelry, magnets, maybe even food pieces, etc.
Good for small product photography. Will update this when the weather is good - as I'm curious how floral work will look on it.

The LimoStudio Table Top Black & White Acrylic Reflective Display Table kit for Product Photography, #AGG838 exceeded my expectations. For starters, It came well protected with a peel off coating on all sides that helped to protect the surface from scratches and was packaged well within the shipping box. This is very important to me as I have had many purchases destroyed by improper packaging or shipping techniques.
The acrylic tables themselves were an excellent height, neither too tall nor too short. This was important to me because I mainly photograph jewelry and my photo box is moderately small. However, I also use it to photograph clothing accessories, shoes, glasswares, what-knots, etc. The size was approximately 1 ft. square. This was very nice for what I needed. The tables are study, not cheap and have a lovely reflective surface on both sides. I found them to be quite useful for creating light and mirror effects for general photography or for a shadowless box.
If I could change anything about this product, it would be to smooth the edges and tips a bit more and to include a polishing cloth to keep the surfaces shiny.
All in all, since they were very useful and the effects a great success, I bought a second set.

Excellent Reflective Boards At A Great Price
Excellent quality reflective boards. I photograph a great deal of jewelry and love the effect these give. Having the added height in one piece is a nice touch and they're wonderfully reflective.
I've been using these types of boards for a quite a few years and have found these superior in build quality - they're thicker than most and more reflective. The protective film is easy to peel off and you've ever struggled with getting the adhesive backed paper off of some of these types of boards I think you'll appreciate how easy these are to remove. Like all of these boards they're both a dust magnet and if you look at them the wrong way they scratch - but this is the nature of all of these regardless who makes them. I find good quality microfiber is essential to keeping them clean and canned air comes in handy as well.
An excellent value for a set that includes both black and white - they're simply terrific and allow you to add wonderful effects to your photographs of small items.

Exactly as advertised. Very Shiny. It comes with a thin film that peels off like a sticker to protect them during packaging. I have attached some VERY AMATEUR photos to show the reflectivity of the base. I am also using a light tent and some inexpensive spotlights as the lighting. For the people reviewing this product positively - did yours come with small scratches all over them? Is this normal?

The ones I got had scratches on both. I could not use them. I think the company I got them from might be selling factory seconds. I would not recommend them. They shouldn't come with scratches if they are brand new. I've asked for a replacement but haven't got any response.

It is like black plexiglass. I use the white one much more than the black. Even with spray and anti dust cloth, black shows dust.

I can't answer, because so far I have not used them, but I would think that it should be able to withstand small items. Hopefully, you will purchase new ones. I purchased used ones, and clearly they were used, to the point where the seller should have thrown them out.
