Question :

What is the minimum field of view (fov) i can see using this lens? let me be more precise, can i see 0.5 mm by 0.5 mm area in the screen of computer?

Answer :

At 240x I see a field of view of 1mm x 1mm. At the maximum magnification of 300x I see a field of .9mm x .9mm. I am using a CCD camera with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 so each pixel has a theoretical resolution of about 1 micrometer which is close to the wave limit of light. I would say that I am happy with this lens and it is of good quality metal construction with glass lens.

The last picture of the listing is the max magnification. We can't measure the FOV but the monitor is 22 inch, the camera is 14MP HDMI output under 1920x1080 resolution. Thank you.

I can see that it has 1X adapter coming with the lens.what is the diameter of adapter? Can I use this adapter to hook up a microscope eye tube?
