Best Archival photo pages.

These are the only ones I've found that measure 8 1/5" x 11, thereby my not having to cut down the sides of my papers. Top loading, easy to slide the papers through, which relate to ancestry, so the archival addition is important.

Clear!

A great product for storing prints. They are very clear, sturdy and will fit in a binder. It would be nice if they also came in an 8 1/2 by 12” size.

I had pen sketches from my father who saved his friend's material (William D. White) and was instructed by a museum in Delaware to use the archival pages to preserve the art. They will be featured in a show next year. Thank you.

Question & Answer

Question :

I'm looking for something to preserve newspaper clippings from President Kennedys assination, would these work?

Answer :

Depending on the size of the clippings any archival quality sleeves should work. Again, it depends on the size of the articles. Most archival quality sleeves are for 81/2" x 11".

Question :

Is the left vertical section in which the holes are punched clear or white?

Answer :

The ones I use are white in that area. Style 811-2P.

Question :

Are these acid free?

Answer :

"My Print File Slide Preservers" packaging says it is Polypropylene. My PhD organic chemist husband says that polypropylene is acid free. And says not to trust a product description that just says "polyester" because that is a term that covers several types of plastic ... some acid free, some not (such as pvc - polyvinyl cloride).

Question :

Can this product be used to store 8x10 negatives (one per page)?

Answer :

I believe that 8x10 negatives could be stored in these pages since 8x10 prints fit nicely. (I've never seen an 8x10 negative though!)

Question :

Are these sleeves PVC free?

Answer :

Yes. The pages are made from polypropylene not polyethylene. Daryl, 2 Sisters Of Texas

Question :

How much glare is introduced by these? Enough to interfere with viewing photos inside?

Answer :

There is not much glare, good quality perfect for pictures.

Question :

does the clear cover open out, for placing photos, then able to restick?

Answer :

No............although I know of no better archival protection for any media!!!!!!!!!!!!!
