Works well; I'd suggest a drop of super glue on the small bolt and then unscrewing the plate+bolt+connector from the main shaft in the softbox because the small bolt is easily lost during breakdown/transport.

It will fit the same threading, however we recommend the larger plate which is intended for the Octa-M (Westcott Part Number 2040-DP)

Yes. However, when I ordered my Rapid Box 26" in the beginning of Jan. 2018 this deflector plate was included in the box. No guarantee that others will come with it, just a heads up.
