Always use these on my lenses
I consider myself an "advanced amateur" shooter. I always use this tissue with the Roscoe cleaning fluid. The key thing about using these is to used a puff of air across the lens first. You absolutely do not want any small rocks or pebbles getting stuck between the paper and your lens.
I dampen one with cleaning fluid and give the lens a scrub. I try not to do a circular motion but going from the middle of the lens outward. I then use a second tissue to dry with the same motion. Overall, this has worked over very well!

Simply the best.
If you a serious photographer, this is the tissue to use - hands down. I have expensive gear and I don't use anything else. Nothing else but Roscoe. I hope the product will stick around for the years to come. Thank you for making such a quality product. My lenses thank you too.

Use for cleaning water spots off of 35mm film before printing in darkroom
Convenient. I use them to clean film in the darkroom when waterspots dry on film. They don't scratch the film, and that was my hope.

Question & Answer
Question :
What's the thickness of this lens paper?
Answer :
I’ve got a dial caliper reading of 0.002” (0.0508 millimeter), it is thin, but holds up well, real nice on lenses. I’ve been using Rosco lens tissue and lens cleaner since 1996, on movie projectors and my cameras.
