These are great products. I bought them to clean my cellphone without traces of fuzz, lint, etc or without scratching the protective glass. Got the idea from the manufacturers who sell those tempered glass protectors. They include alcohol swabs, a disposable dry-off swab and finally a large, electrostatic postage-stamp version of one of these cloths. When searching for a larger size, I saw that these are the same cloths they use for optical lenses, i.e. glasses, binoculars, so the definitely have to be soft, leaving no trace of fuzz or whatever. These cloths are just large enough to clean your HD screens, computer monitors, etc. They are easy to wash and quick to dry. 6 cloths at this price is definitely a steal!

Yes, it can, but CDs are very washable. Try using a little Dawn and dry with a microfiber cloth.

To be honest they aren’t very absorbent. They are made from a soft, shiny fabric. I find that they do clean the lens ok but I still wipe my lens with alcohol occasionally to remove buildup.
