The Ultimate Line of SD Cards for maximum performance

The ultimate in SD cards of not only Sandisk but above all other companies when it comes to UHS-I (and UHS-II for the UHS-II version of this). Time and time again I have relied on Sandisk to record my images and video for personal, paid, professional, etc. events where I need reliability and I don't think I've had a Sandisk memory card ever fail on me save for one non-Extreme model that was very old and in a newer camera. Its speeds are superb and they match what they advertise. I really can not recommend this brand and this line of memory cards enough. They last too. I have several older Extreme Pro's that function just as well today as ever with no reduction in reading and write speed despite being used for applications with constant read and write and constant formatting. I have used these cards to shoot both RAW stills and video, the latter of which is a VERY stressful and demanding task for a camera to ask for a memory card, the memory card must maintain a truly stable and constant write speed and Sandisk does where other brands do not. I have used other brands and yes they work but for shooting high speed, high megapixel stills cameras or shooting 4K video or RAW video I will use Sandisk whenever possible. They continue to exceed my expectations and you truly get what you pay for and then some more. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. I use these cards daily and have for a while.

Makes new camera even faster.

I did a review on how much faster than card makes my camera write after taking a photograph, which means I can take them faster in succession now, than I have ever done before. Well, I have a new camera FZ-80 (which is great), but noticed that even though it would takes photos faster than the FZ-70, there was a noticeable lag time before I could take the next photo. So I am ordering another one of these cards, for the new camera as well.

If you are somewhere where you need to take a series of photos quickly, like trying to catch a setting sun, this card will make a difference

Always buy Sandisk and never Lexar

I had to learn the hard way that when it comes to SD cards you always want to buy Sandisk and never Lexar or other less pricey cards. First of all Sandisk always published write speeds vs Lexar who like to promote their read speeds. Which one do you think is important when shooting photos or video? Obviously the write speed. And I also had issues with Lexar cards and unreadable files which I've never had with a Sandisk card. I've tried other cards in the past but now I just want to use what works every time. Just buy Sandisk.

Very good performance SD card for my DSLR. Worth the money to spend on quality speedy SD card.

Definitely worth spending extra for this SD card. PC to SD card (with McAfee company-installed package running in background) transfer of 3GB of 160 files (~20MB file size - raw photo files) shows average 55MB per second write speed. SD to PC read out of similar type files (from my Nikon D5100-taken raw image files) usually occur at about 80MB to 85MB per second read speed.

My DSLR is much more responsive when I'm taking multiple continuous frame photo shooting as it is able to save new photo images quicker to the SD card than my previous SD card I used, so it is able to take slightly quicker burst shots and longer (more shots) bursts as the DSLR is able to move out captured images from its internal butter out to the SD card faster than before.

This comes handy when taking any sort of action shots and allows the camera to work better.

64gb Sandoval memory card for my Rebel T6i. Good card

Bought this memory card for my cannon rebel T6i camera. The memory card is faster than I probably need for the camera. But. I do shoot video on my camera. So the extra speed helps for the video writing. The card is quick in my camera. No complaints. I take photos every day I'm at my beach house. My friend told me I needed a larger Mb so I can take better stills of the waves and ect. It's a memory card. Has a lifetime warranty. I travel a lot. So 64 gigs is about 5000 photos. If I switch to a lower image setting on my camera. It shows the card can hold 9999 pictures. My friend said I should get the 128 gb. But. I'm not a professional photographer by any means. This card is great for my trips. It comes with a clear case. But. I just leave it in my. Camera. Again I'm not a pro photographer. Just a guy who like better image quality than my iPhone sometimes. This works.

Works as expected, but DON'T BUY IT

I got this as an upgrade to my 5 year old Sandisk 16GB SD card, I use it mainly to store photos and videos in my Nikon DSLR, I took a long time to upgrade my card as I mainly shoot photos, I occasionally shoot video, and sometimes the video got interrupted because the SD card wasn't fast enough.

PROS
- Really fast writing performance, I can easily shoot FullHD video without interruptions.
- Fast reading performance when you copy the files to the computer.

CONS
- A month after buying this refurbished card $18.59, a new version comes out that supports transfer speeds up to 170MB/s.

So my advice, just skip this refurbished card and get the new version for $20.

Wedding Videographer Feedback

I am a professional wedding videographer, I need quick read and write speeds for a fast paced workflow. This 64 gig card should be in all professional videographer’s bags. I recommend this card because any card with higher memory can be hazardous. Imagine if you had a 128 gig SD. If you lose that card you have lost all your work. If you had two 64 gigs, atleast half of your trip to Aruba can still be processed and saved. 64 gigs is not only the safest amount of data to have on one card, but it’s read and write speeds are fast. SanDisk has without a doubt industry leading cards.

Great card, great price.

After reading some of the negative reviews about this SD card, I was a bit hesitant on ordering one. But, I needed something bigger than my slower 32GB SD card so I decided to pull the trigger.

Thankfully, there were no issues. I used them two nights in a row to show a couple of rock concerts. They worked flawlessly in my Canon G-16 and I was able to shoot very quickly. Concerts are one of the hardest things to shoot and having a card that can write quickly is very important. I am so glad I bought this card, even with a bit of reservation.

I'm a guy on a budget and the price was most definitely worth it.

Memory for Sony RX III

I got this for my Sony RX III. It was able to hold about 2,000 pictures on one card. (Or 1,800 photos and five or so less than five minute high definition videos in another situation.) For each image, a JPEG and RAW format file were recorded. (I do both so I can post the JPEGs via wifi to my phone during vacations, and post-process the RAW in Lightroom later.) I suggest getting at least two cards of this size if you are a heavy picture taker. I used up the entire card during a recent week long vacation, and had to scramble for additional memory on the final day. Great product and will buy again.

I never use any other type of SD cards! Very reliable/durable!

I am a professional photographer so I am constantly shooting and needing SD cards. This brand and type of SD card is honestly the best SD card out there. Very reliable and durable. The upload time is really fast as well and I shoot with huge files. I have tried many SD cards in the past and had to deal with slow upload times and corrupted cards. These SD cards last for years and I am extremely happy with them. These are great because most computers come with the reader built in so you just have to insert the SD card directly into the computers/laptops and you will be able to upload/download right away!
