If you’re looking for a solid, high value tripod for your iPhone or camera, this is it. I was looking for something that was easy to setup, light weight, that I could throw in my car. And honestly I didn’t want to get upset if it was stolen or damaged by my kids.
Fully extended, this places my iPhone at 6 feet up. It smoothly pivots, too. So if you’re tracking active kids, this will handle that no problem. The legs are aluminum and sturdy. It doesn’t at all feel cheaply made. The bubble level indicator is accurate as well.

This was purchased for use with an IPad to stream Sunday services. We had been using an older tripod, but that one had issues and was not the most stable. I think so, but my answer is a "good-old-definite maybe" because I am not sure how much a cannon t6 w/50-300 mm zoom weighs. The canon t6 body specs at 17.1 oz but I don't know about your lens. My camera is a Pentax k5. With my 55-300 mm Pentax DA lens attached to my K5, it weighs 2 lb 15.1 oz (on my postage scale). My camera and lens is rock-solid when mounted on the UBeesize 67" tripod extended to its full height. You would need to weigh your camera system and draw your own conclusion.
