It charges the batteries two at a time. There LED lights to let you know when the battery is completely charged. The cord that came with my A7iii was a little on the short side and using it when charging the battery always made me nervous because I'd have to leave the camera sitting on the floor. This comes with a longer cord but does not include the charging block so you'll need to use the one that came with your camera.

I own a Sony a7iii and a7riii, both with battery grips so I use two batteries at a time. The Sony Batteries will last me a full day of shooting. I won’t use 3rd party batteries, and you shouldn’t with $2k-$4k cameras honestly. But for charging. I got 2 of these to charge both sets of batteries at once while I travel and it’s the best thing. Just plug them in overnight and they’re good to go in the morning! The price is super cheap and worth it if you do multiple jobs within a day or two.
