105w limo studio replacement bulbs
A lot better and brighter than what came with the limo studio kit. They are larger than the 45w bulbs. Really help give that extra light you need for pictures.

Great for growing.
No complaints. Tomatoes are growing, good price, good light. The package maybe could use another box around the box it came in, which was full with the Styrofoam holding the bulbs nut. I heard the package bounce off my door and porch. I of course ran out and went ham on my mail man (now it's awkward). But the bulbs worked fine. I'll order more as I need for more plants.

Grow tropicals indoors
I use these to grow tropicals indoors in Seattle (literally, under my stairs in my apartment). I haven't found a shade that will fit them, but for fixtures I use the plain hanging sockets from IKEA. So far I have lush, happy plants with larger leaves than ever -- the only problem is they grow toward the light and I have to keep turning them, so I'm buying more! Reviewing because I'm here to repurchase two more sets.

AWESOME LIGHTS!
I am a professional Photographer and needed new lights for my soft boxes. I ordered these lights and received them in a little under a week, and neither light (I ordered 2) was broken or flawed in any way. I WAS SHOCKED!!! They are super bright and really affordable.

Nice bulbs. My fault
Nice bulbs. My fault, but I broke one already. As you have probably already found, these bulbs are pretty big. The overall length is around 10 inches. They have a standard, US "Edison" (medium) base so will fit in almost any socket, but your lighting fixture has to have lots of room to hold the babies. I use them in a cheaper, Impact brand light fixture that has a light diffusor. These higher wattage bulbs put out more light, but don't expect 1930's red-hot glow movie lights. These particular bulbs are rated at 5500K color. I did not test them. Most of the higher-wattage bulbs (85W+) are mostly 6500K which I think it too cool.

Huge bulbs, huge difference.
I ordered these bulbs as a replacement for a smaller set that I broke a couple of weeks before. I do product photography, so I needed to replace them as quickly as possible.
These were a good price, and the wattage I was looking for, so I ordered them. they arrived quickly, and in enough packaging to protect their delicate glass.
However, I was surprised at how huge they are! they are easily 10 inches long from the threaded end tot he glass tip, and have a 3-4 inch diameter. I was concerned they wouldn't fit in my light stands, but they did with a little adjustment of the umbrellas.
They are bright, but not as bright as I expected considering the size. However, they provide enough light to create the effects I need when shooting video and photos. Overall, I would recommend these bulbs as a cost-effective photography accessory.

Lots of output for the money. Fragile, so be careful.
A lot of light for the money. I use dozens of these for my photo students. Never had a bulb die of old age. They get broken before that, usually by over twisting or crashing on the floor. These are low enough power draw that they can be put into standard lighting fixtures if space allows. Good for use as 'practicals'. If you're a trained lighting person, you'll know what I mean. Equal to a 250 watt tungsten output, but daylight balanced. A little deficient in magenta, but not bad. A 10 point Roscoline gel is adequate if you want to be spot on. Low heat, so you can use scotch tape or thin wire to wrap them.

Exactly what I needed! So Bright!
I was replacing the light from my photo kit. The original kit came with 6000K which is still daylight but much in the late afternoon daylight. Obviously these 5500K ones are larger in size and more expensive, but the difference in brightness is well worth it. Photos come out super clear and color balance is excellent.
I order 8 of them. Each bulb came in an individual package with heavy foam padding. Amazon delivery person dropped the box on the concrete floor (saw it from the camera, jaw-dropping moment because I knew one of those big boxes was these light bulbs) along with the other amazon shipping box. It was a pretty big drop and made a noise, but the padding was really good and nothing happened to the light bulbs.

Good materials
I ordered these E Mart 105W CFL to replace two 85W CFL bulbs that simply would not allow the switch of the light base to make a connection. These are perfect. Much better manufacturing than my previous purchases of 85W, which cost a lot more than these! Great for photography projects. I wanted to try the bulbs before ordering photography light stands with umbrella. They are also great for houseplants needing some extra light, during cloudy season. They are fragile, but can be moved around, carefully, and clamped where needed. They fit in a standard light base. Highly recommend this brand / supplier.

Amazing quality!
I have had some used photography equipment sitting in my shop for a couple of years, but I didn't know what bulbs to get so it sat. I was using craft lights or natural daylight (restricted my photographs to daytime only) to photograph my finished items, so I was looking to upgrade. I finally took a leap and sprung for these bulbs, and OMG! What a difference! I am so pleased.

An art studio I deal with recommends two 85-watt bulbs in either 5000k or 5500k color making a great studio light if your ceiling is 8-to-10’ high. OR use a 20-watt compact fluorescent bulb (or even brighter if your shadowbox is large) for your still-life shadow box light.
