This works in my Olympus D595 zoom.

I originally went to Costco and then a local camera shop to find memory cards for this camera. I like that it has a viewfinder because the screen often has glare that makes it hard to use. Anyway, both Costco and the camera shop told me the memory cards for this camera were unavailable. Someone here on Amazon suggested contacting Olympus (duh..), which I did. Olympus suggested this and now I can use my camera again!

Patience needed but still arrived sooner than expected

I was surprised at the cost, but then when you have to wait a while for arrival it is to be expected. Still, for what one costs normally, I appreciated being able to use my camera again.

xD Picture Card

Item isn't available in stores any longer, so I couldn't use my camera. Now I'm happily snapping pictures of my new garden. Good quality of product, well-packed, just as advertised.

SanDisk Extreme 64GB microSDXC UHS-I Card with Adapter - SDSQXVF-064G-GN6MA

Question & Answer

Question :

Will this work with an Olympus D-580?

Answer :

http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-D-580-Digital-Camera-Optical/dp/B0001DKQX2 - calls for an XD card. I would bet that it will work. I use it in a FUJI 5200.

Question :

Does this work on a Stylist 710?

Answer :

Yes, this is the right card for Stylus 710

Question :

Will this camera card work in an Olympus C-765 Ultra Zoom Camera. The camera is about 10 years old.

Answer :

No! The biggest card you can use in your camera is 512 mb card. I bought this card for my camera and ended up swapping cards with my Fuji.

Question :

Will it work with the FujiFilm FinePix A340?

Answer :

Probably. This works with my FujiFilm FinePix A345. It cannot accommodate anything larger than a 1 GB picture card, however.

Question :

I now have an xD-picture card H512 MB for a FinePix C 20 camera will the M+ work in this camera?

Answer :

I am sorry, I think so, but not sure. If your camera will only take XD cards, then it should work.

Question :

Will it work on a Olympus Stylus 800

Answer :

From the research I've gathered, this memory card should function in the Stylus 800. Although I could not find anything specific to the M+ xD card , the camera is new enough that it should work. Be advised
that if you order this card it takes awhile to get it. It's being shipped from the U.K.

Question :

Can I use a regular micro sdhc instead of this card?

Answer :

No! XD is the updated version of the old Smartmedia card. SDHC is Secure Digital High Capacity, it is a different
configuration from the XD. Most new devices are using Secure Digital HC and Micro sdhc. the other cards are being faised out.

Question :

Is the H type memory card the same as the M type??

Answer :

No they are different technologies - although they will fit in an xD slot, some cameras may have capability issues with the "wrong" type card and read/write slowly. Check the specs in your device's owner's manual to see which type(s) it will accept.
