Great small companion for any shoot.
I'm a fan of tripods and always carry one around. I was looking for a small one that can be sturdy enough that can be use also as a base for my gimbal stabilizer. As comparing prices and features I found this Neewer and it is incredible, with great features at a great price. Construction is in metal, matte black textured finish, the ball head only have 1 knob but it is very stable and strong. It have a bubble level, and the feature that I love the most is that have a mini Arca Swiss plate, it is small but can hold other regular plates as well. The only con that I found is that the legs only open & locks in 2 positions, you can decide which of the 2 via rotation a dial located in the middle of the ball head and the legs. Have rubber feet and 1/4 inch screw holes in each of the legs. I'm really happy with this tripod and it will be a permanent companion of my cameras.

Big Bang for Buck in Sturdy, Strong, Simple Tabletop Tripod
As much as I like my Fotobetter LBH-25 ball head, a compact ball head clone of a similar RRS ball head, I decided I'd like another but slightly larger one for use as a head for my Bogen monopod. But, nothing larger from Fotobetter was to be found, and the Neewer compact ball head was the closest affordable alternative I could find. But, when I saw the ball head was available as this tabletop tripod for only $8 more, the decision to get the combo was a no-brainer and I'm so very happy with the purchase. I have several Oben TT-100 tabletop tripods with an even smaller ball head that I use for lighting, clamps, smaller/lighter cameras, etc. and find them extremely handy, so buying something a bit more robust that might work with my heavier Nikon D850 DSLR seemed like it should also be very handy.
This tripod is solid! And the strength of the ball head is excellent for its size. I very much like the two-position height adjustment of the tripod for a bit added versatility, opting for the low position if the greatest stability is desired. The ball head, being a single lever design is not so much designed for panning since releasing the lever enough to pan also reduces grip on the ball and thus the camera position, but I expected that so no problem there. The important thing was the holding power of the ball head and with 11.4 lbs. of camera, lens, gimbal, and QR plates configured and mounted on it, it held! The caveat there is that was with the gimbal mounted in an upright position as it is intended to be used, given that gimbal heads are more commonly used as a direct head replacement. But, I put a QR plate on my gimbal for speed of interchangeability, so the weight it contributes to the overall package is going to give a ball head a good test, and this one passed. If I deliberately tilt the gimbal off center, the ball head will only hold the total weight if the ball head is strongly locked down with the lever....and that is possible, but just not how I'd typically use a ball head. Take off the gimbal/plate and the package drops to 9 pounds which with use of the lens plate for mounting with a better center of gravity, finds the ball head easily secures the camera and lens at any angle with a more typical "firm tightening" of the clamping lever.
So, overall I have nothing but praise for this relatively light, compact tabletop tripod & ball head. The aesthetics of it are nice too, and although no straps are provided for use with the slotted legs, at least the slots are there to extend the versatility in how the tripod might be used or secured, while 1/4-20 threaded holes accommodate mounting small accessories on the legs. The tripod is easily, easily worth the added cost over the ball head alone. As I wrap this up, I realized I should remove the QR plate from my Neewer gimbal and mount it directly to the tripod...sure enough, another excellent combination. In general, I'd be using the gimbal on a larger tripod, but for anyone who may be able to take advantage of a gimbal yet needs a low profile support, this tripod looks as though it should work wonderfully, as long as you don't need adjustable legs to accommodate uneven surfaces.
Great bang for the buck!

Pretty darned sturdy for such a small package
Using for small camera and very large/heavy spotting scope. If you're trying to digi-scope with the spotting scope, it is too light - lot of shake for trying to snap a picture. But if you just want it for looking through, it works fine. For the large/heavy scopes, the legs will need to be placed at maximum splay to insure stability. This makes for a very low mount which works for me as I have a scope with an angled eyepiece and I'm usually using off of a bench. For the smaller camera, it's dead solid. Have not tried it with a heavy SLR, just with a larger point and shoot.

Shockingly Good
I bought this for my daughter. She is getting into video, and needed a small tripod for her phone. I did not expect this tripod to be so large, sturdy and feature rich.
The price is what fooled me. I thought that the low price meant the tripod was a bit on the cheaper side. I was wrong. This thing is incredible, and far better suited to my photography work than my daughter's phone adventures.
She is now using an old cheap tripod I had lying around, and I am using this tripod.

Incredible Value
This tripod is an incredible value. It is extremely sturdy and well made and the ball is buttery smooth. It locks into position and doesn't move. I am using it for a table top projector (Nebula Cosmos) and it works perfect.

Perfect little tripod
While heavier than I expected for such a compact tripod, I have not been worried about it’s ability to hold up well, even with a Nikon D850 paired with a Sigma 150-600. Great little tripod!

Best value around for quality and features
This is everything I needed in a small tripod for use with a spotting scope. Major benefits was the two position settings for the legs, rotation ball, and quick disconnect. The full metal quality and price made this a great buy. I will update over time but so far am extremely happy.

Best mini tripod
Fantastic little tripod. It’s built like a tank. I was specifically looking for a mini tripod with a arca quick release and this one met al of my requirements. The fact that it is mostly metal makes it seem like it will hold up for a long time.

Good Tripod for heavy objects
I wanted a tripod for my home projector and I decided to buy this one, and it is great the ball bearing is strong and the "heavy" structure helps to keep things sturdy, I recommend it if you want a solid tripod to hold a heavy device. look no more. if you want to carry it on your back pack for 10km and take 10,000 pictures probably not but for recording or supporting an stationary device is great.

Stellar value for the money
This is such a great value for the money. Sturdy metal construction, two settings for the ideal height, an excellent ball head mount, grips on the bottom for varying surfaces, lightweight, and extremely portable. I'll probably be ordering another sometime in the future. One of my favorite purchases this year.

Question & Answer
Question :
Does this ball head can hold the gitzo l bracket for sony a7ii camera?
Answer :
Should work fine.
Question :
Can you please share a link to buy additional quick release plates for the macro mini tripod?
Answer :
The tripod uses the standard arca swiss plate for the quick release system so any plate that fits the Arca Swiss Standard Clamp will work. To be sure, just check that the width is between 35mm to 38mm. I say around because it is a screw-to-tighten style lock which means it can go slightly wider if needed. Otherwise 35mm is the standard, “arca-style” size width. Since you asked for a link, here is a search result list of various length arca standard plates
Question :
Does the ball head pan for video?
Answer :
You would be better off getting a video head that fits on the tripod screw. You can conceivably pan with a ball head but it won't be smooth or even.
Question :
I suspect this is a typical arca-swiss plate, but just wanted to check. Is it?
Answer :
Yes, this is an arca Swiss compatible tripod and includes a small arca Swiss plate
Question :
Are the holes close to the bottom of the legs threaded for 1/4" 20 screws? Thank you for your help!
Answer :
Yes, they are.
Question :
what's the size of the quick release plate?
Answer :
1 21/32" (42mm) long, and roughly 1 7/16" (36.5mm) wide at the bottom and 1 3/16" (30mm) wide at the top
